Clean and Quiet
This is a great hotel: quiet (the most important for me) and clean. During corona the staff is doing everything to keep the place running, spotless. I stayed for 5 days for business. It was +33 outside, aircon worked. On top of perfect location this hotel has one unique interesting feature: they have installed door locks that do not bang, but quietly closing with a click. Meaning you do not have to jump to the ceiling when someone comes late or leaves early. Perfect!
Hot and bothered - don't waste your time or money here.
On a very hot day, we had to make a special request for the aircon to be switched on. The display pad reads 16 degrees with the room so sweltering that one pours with sweat. You ask again for the aircon to be checked and the window and curtains (that you have specifically closed because of the aircon) are blamed as likely causes. Terrible customer service - go ahead and book a room if you want to overnight in a sauna.
no hot water for 3 days
Call me picky but no hot water in a hotel is genuine complaint. Staff tell me that most rooms are ok but I know that isn't true because many of my colleagues are staying in the hotel and they don't have hot water either. No suggestion of a refund or compensation of any kind. Not good enough Arte. I will be asking our company to consider other venues when myself and my colleagues stay in Goppingen again.
One night goppingen
Stayed here before so new what it was like last time we had no complaints staff and food were perfect hotel was perfect except the shower was cold and yes i did know how to use the shower four of us stayed there and all had to have cold showers pretty poor but hotel in general is great and ideally position to drink locally and eat found some really nice restaurants
Gem of a hotel
Had to stay at this hotel due to a trade show that was on in Stuttgart and there were no rooms available in the city. What an absolute gem! Not a 5 star hotel, however the rooms were clean and the breakfast good. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate was available 24/7 for free. The staff was really helpful, especially Kevin, the manager I dealt with. Can recommend this hotel without a doubt.
