We spent 2 nights in this hotel. We were assigned an excellent room on the 8th floor. We appreciated the location of the hotel and its facilities with nearby communication to the city centre. Very friendly staff at all levels. We do not hesitate to recommend this hotel!

Hotell is good with a nice restaurant space, but some guests are unlucky and are served breakfast in a separate area which seems to be a converted conference room with no view, brown walls, roof only windows, and generally poor ambiance and layout.

Was not happy with disengaged staff, poor information about availability of pool (had to be booked prior to stay) and very average rooms and facilities. A very standard business hotel with no reason for a return visit.

Had a three day break in Göteborg from Stockholm. Hotel had a great location and the staff were really polite and friendly. The hotel was fully booked so there was no option to have a late check out or anything that would be normally done outside of summer. Only downside was breakfast was on the 6th floor and didn't offer as much as the main dining hall on the ground floor. But cannot fault and will use again.

We stayed at Scandic Europa in July 2021. The room was great, top floor, with a fantastic view over Göteborg city. Room was comfortable with good ventilation. Bathroom was clean and in good condition. The only downside of our stay was breakfast. Under additional corona restrictions, our breakfast was moved to a smaller conferemce room on another floor. The moving to another place was no issue, as this is a necessary procaution during these times. However, the organistion of the breakfast was horrendous. We booked on check in for breakfast at 9:00 each morning. Thw first day worked fine, the second day we were not on the list at all which created some confusion. The general service at this smaller conference room breakfast was below standard. No serving spoons, slow refilling of breakfast items, slow clean up of plates. In addition, the selection of items for breakfast was not what one usuallt expects from Scandic hotels. Just the bare basic selection of items.
