great location, modern design but bad price policy

the hotel is small and nice, modern design, friendly stuff. a little bit overpriced but you are still asked to pay extra 10% service fee for the hotel stuff at the end. i have never seen it before in any hotel and find it not correct. please change your price policy.

Amazing stay at Wood Hotel
Reviewed 26 september, 2021
Fantastic experience at the Wood Hotel. Very modern and stylish, friendly staff, cozy rooms (although ours was small), and delicious breakfast. We spent a good amount of time at the bar sampling various unbelievable hand crafted cocktails that were works of art. The food we ordered at the bar was also fantastic. Since there is no pool, you're able to use the pool over at their sister hotel, Casa da Montanha, which is just a block away. My only minor feedback would be that, as a tourist, there wasn't anyone at the hotel (or at Casa da Montanha) that spoke English. But, I found that was pretty much the case in all of Gramado. That doesn't take away from the 5-star experience though. If I go back to Gramado, I'll be staying here again!

An unique contemporary winter cottage

This is an unsposored review. Wood is in the heart of Gramado on a side street a stone from major attractions. Hotel has a blend of urban and cottage concept. All employees wear plaid red shirts open lobby invites guests to interact with artworks. A fireplace and some tangerine-cinnamon aroma is the quintessential welcoming experience. Check in is done immediately without any issues and a glass of sparkling wine is complimentary to all guests (adults) checking in. What makes the hotel very special is their staff. They give tips, advice where to go, where to avoid. Room is great, charcoal Grey meets woodwork, leather bench and a art hanging on the top of my bed. Amenities are of good quality, e.g. Loccitane. Breakfast is a local feast with invitation to the gaucho culture, cuisine with a contemporary twist. Freshly squeezed juices including local peach named butia, green juice, organic coffee and range free eggs are a few treats of Wood. Pastries, cakes, local yogurts and honey are icing on the cake. Every evening they prepare the bed and place a cotton towel at the foot of the bed. They also give two mini chocolate truffles too... Sleep quality and linen are superb. I ate a few times there. Capeletti soup was below average. Pasta was clustered and broth had no taste. Called manager to address. Same for the rice cake balls not so tasteful. Called them and provided constructive feedback. Drinks are very nice Some of the rooms need some maintenance (dented furniture, spots on the walls room 2008) . I called management a few times to replace worn and torn towels. Cleanliness of rooms could be better. After three calls the head of governance took care and assured every spot was clean and neat. ros Extremelly well trained staff ( kudos do Luciana, Say, Dhieny, André, Wendel, Adenilson ) Open Windows, contemporary furniture, cozy ambiance, Cons No rooftop bar. Restaurant food should be better. No management director present to address customer issues.

Hotel wood is chic and modern, with exceptional cuisine

The best hotel in Gramado. The food is outstanding, the service is exceptional. I highly recommend this as the best place to stay in Gramado. The rooms are modern and have the necessary amenities. It is apart of the Casa hotel group, so you get access to the pool, spa and gym.

Amazing experience. This little and very cozy hotel is a jewel. Service is impecable. Food, including breakfast is superb, beyond expectations. Price range is very fair. Worth every penny. If you come to this charming town, make sure you stay at the Wood hotel in Gramado.
