Family get away
I came down with the family and my grand daughter to spend some time with them before going back to work and starting school. We were welcomed very well by AnnaBell at reception. The hotel were very prepared for the covid protections, all the staff are wearing the appropriate equipment. We felt very safe to be here, enjoying every minute down here before returning back.
I didn't enjoy our stay...
Getting to Hotel Anacapri was not an easy task. We were following Waze when we were approached by a man on a motorcycle, who offered to show us the way. He seemed to be nice, and guided us, accessing a street where he had to press a button to enter, and when we arrived, he kept asking for money in a not very nice way. After that, we finally entered the hotel and were greeted by a very friendly and proactive lady, who was telling us what we should do, and how to do it, and gave us several directions and a map. Upon arriving at the apartment, a certain disappointment ... The worst of all on our wonderful trip. A small apartment, with an equally small bathroom. The shower, with a fabric curtain. Really, who uses fabric curtains in the shower today? For heaven's sake, put a glass box!!!! Really, staying in this apartment made our experience in Granada a little less nice than I imagined. The breakfast was also very simple, fruit compote, few options. The highlight was the bread and jamon, and that's it. The hotel definitely needs a makeover ... I don't recommend it (except for the receptionist, who was really nice).
VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR RESPONSE
We have twice stayed at this excellent, superbly located hotel in the epicentre of Granada. We were due to go there again in April flying BA from City. Booked in September BA ( Best Avoided ) arbitrarily cancelled the flights and we had to rebook through Easyjet which required an extra night at each end of the holiday. The original two night booking was cancellable but the extra night I paid for in full and was non cancellable. However without quibbling the hotel are refunding me. I WON'T HESITATE TO REVISIT WHEN NORMALITY RETURNS
Excellent location
All attractions within walking distance, or you can take frequent buses. Hotel good with very helpful reception staff. Room a little small but bed very comfortable. Bathroom a bit tired. breakfast buffet good and public rooms smart and comfortable.
Nice hotel in the center
This hotel is right in the center of Granada. Few minutes walk from the Catedral, 15 minutes walk to Alhambra (uphill!), but you can also take a bus. The hotel is nice, but breakfast only average. The staff was very helpful with describing attractions. Parking is a big problem here. Fortunately the hotel has cooperation with two nearby garages. If you are by car, you have to add 20-25e to your costs for parking.
