Hotel not respecting Swiss Law in order to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus
Reviewed 25 november, 2021
Hilton Geneva Hotel and Conference Center is just partially respecting the Corona Mesures imposed by the Swiss Government. Furthermore as a Hilton Gold Member you don't get the usual benefits (upgrade to Executive floor). First of all: no respect of Corona Mesures: Neither at the restaurant nor at CBar and Lounge the Corona Pass has been checked, any guest were asked to show vaccination / negative Corona test result. Date: 19th November 2021. This is a clear Swiss Law violation!!!!! Just at the pool and for the breakfast the Corona Pass has been checked. Informing the staff about this defect, I just received the answer: "This can happen" (cela peut arriver). Dear Hilton: No!!!! Furthermore I was disappointed about foid quality. My Dish was cold, the rice even frozen. Informing the waitress about this, she disapoeared in the kitchen, returned and said that the only vegeterian Tofu dish is somelike a salad and should ve cold. On the menu there was no remark that a main dish is gold. And sorry, I have never heard of frozen rice and Tofu. It is more likely, that the whole dish hasn't been put in the microwave. It ended up the heated up the rice and Tofu, so the dish became eatable, nothing more. No excuses, just eat or leave it attitude. I have done the online check in. Normally as a Hilton Gold Member you get an upgrade to the Executive floor which in an almost empty Hotel should be possible. Upon arrival the receptionist just wanted to give us a standard room since the Executive Floor is just reserved for Diamond members. Seeing my surprise that even a small upgrad is not possible, we received nevertheless a small upgrad to a Premium room. The room itself was ok, clean. Leaving the hotel no questions about general satisfication have been asked. It was clearly the attitude: "Pay and leave, bye bye number xy." Defintely one of my worst (Hilton) hotel experiences, what a pitty for such an international town!

Friendly Hotel Staff & clean Rooms & Hotel comfortable & ideal when visiting the Geneva Palexpo. Nice tasty breakfast and large food & drinks selection! Nice bar and Italian restaurant! Rooms on executive floor have a lovely view!

The hotel looks old-fashioned and kind of boring from the outside, but the rooms are very nicely appointed (looks like recent internal renovation) and extremely clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a little on the expensive side, but a nice buffet. Good conference services and food.
Hotel Hilton, Geneva airport - a great experience

The hotel was conveniently located next to the airport with a shuttle service that was on time. All the staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and efficient. The room was a good size with all the expected amenities and the overall atmosphere was positive
Hardest beds in the world, but great gym and breakfast

It's a big conference center hotel. It's rather far from downtown, and there's really nowhere around to walk. The 2 restaurants share the same menu. A cheeseburger is US$45. The bed was literally the hardest, most painful mattress that I've ever experienced. Room stunk of stale cigarette smoke. But, the gym was phenomenal and the breakfast buffet was fantastic.
