Very clean and well maintained rooms. Frontdesk person was very helpful. He also recommended me some restaurants which was very nice. I recommended everyone to give try to this hotel. It might look little old from outside but inside is uptodate.
Cheap with great coffee

If you want something inexpensive with privacy, this is perfect. Located right off the interstate- yet distant enough that you could comfortably take your pet out for some excercise. Management were accommodating & friendly- without being invasive. This is only value hotel that has ever impressed me with their coffee, available 24/7 and brewed perfectly in a automatic "Keurig" style machine. If you bring young kids or want absolute silence- maybe not an ideal choice.
At least we weren't murdered or robbed

Several issues: The security lock and deadbolt were broken so we barricaded the door with furniture. There was dust on the ceiling fan so thick that you could see it from the floor. Staff vacuumed at 4:00 am for some reason. There were people either arguing or talking loudly in the lobby area past 11:00 at night. Room smelled like insecticide. Beds were very squeaky. Overall, a sketchy overpriced place. Don't recommend.
Bad Place, Terrible service

I checked in got a non-smoking room. Except when I walked into the room, it smelled like someone had just finished smoking a cigarette in there. Went back to front desk requested another room. This one smelled like a sewer. Back to front desk. Guy at the desk went with me to check out rooms with me. Showed me one that smelled of stale cooking grease but settled for it. Said all the rooms with kitchenettes had that odor. Ok settled in, turned on the TV and bang the TV doesn't work. Well it came on but no sound and the remote doesn't work. Guy comes up, can't fix it. Later he tells me he called the manager and he should be there in 10 minutes. He never showed. Smelled like someone was smoking pot in the lobby. No coffee in the morning with their so called breakfast. This place is in a bad area and sounded like gunshots were fired in the area that night though no police showed up.This goes down as the worst econo lodge I ever stayed at. Pontoon beach has a nice motel 6. Stay there instead.
Worst Hotel Experience Ever—Avoid AT ALL COSTS

We had the unfortunate displeasure of staying one night in this most vile of all hotels I have ever experienced. From check-in to check out only 8 hours later, this disgusting flea-bag hotel made my skin crawl. The man who checked us in was rude and unhelpful. When we opened the door to our room, the stench of mold, dirty feet, ancient cigarette smoke and musty air literally made us gag. The bathroom floor was dirty with hair and dead bugs. We had to go to the front desk to ask for towels, because the room was not made up properly for us. Then when my teenage son went to the front desk a few minutes later to ask for shampoo and soap, the front desk man was rude and condescending, demanding why my son was at the front desk again asking for something. The mattress and sheets felt damp, the carpeting was lumpy and uneven, with ancient cigarette holes. Had we not arrived so late, I would have searched for another hotel. In the morning, after “sleeping” on the horrifically uncomfortable bed, I had a splitting headache—probably due to breathing in toxic moldy air. The “free breakfast” was so unappealing and with such poor choices, we skipped it and went out to breakfast. The hotel is in a horrible area and we did not feel safe. Whatever you do, avoid this lurid, unbelievable rathole. If I could give it less than one star, I would.
