Lovely family run B&B very caring

Let me first say big thank you to Sandra & Phil and all the staff at the Seahorse Guest House for making use so welcome on our stay. When I pick somewhere to stay, I always think of the price. As long as the place it is clean and tidy it’s good enough. On holiday I only want somewhere to sleep because I am out all day enjoying my holiday. The Seahorse in my opinion went one better, in with the price was a full English breakfast, Tea, Coffee, cereal, toast, and very good service. This is a 3 star place, but it for filled all our need, why pay for 5 star. The Seahorse Guest house really look after their guests. Thank you all so much for such a great stay. would stay at this B&B again. ***** Thanks again

Brilliant Stay

Reviewed 9 july, 2022

Nice location near seafront in the middle to walk both ways of the sea front. Nice street. Room was ok with all the little extras. Bathroom was nice with bath with over shower. The breakfast was excellent freshly cooked. The bar was opened for us. Sandra and Phil were excellent hosts nothing too much trouble. Also gave information what to do and where to go as tourist information centre is closed!! They were so lovely and friendly.

Stayed here me and wife for 8 nights every thing was fine the breakfast was to die for and asked for food that was not on menu and was only too pleased to accommodate, The hosts and staff were great very cheerful and friendly and helpful, the jams are homemade and when passing will get some more, it was more like a family holiday more than a bed and breakfast we were always made to feel welcome, the room was clean and tidy, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate with fresh bottled water, had a great time would book again if we needed somewhere to stay in Great Yarmouth thank you for your hospitality and long may you prosper. Little break

Reviewed 29 june, 2022

Room very small but ok for 2 nights. In the evening after trying to have decent shower which was either too hot or too cold we went to the lounge for a couple of drinks. Phil snd Sandra very friendly and their 2 little dogs running around not a problem. We went to bed but could not sleep we were both restless. We put the light on pulled back the cover the bed was running alive with bugs... we pulled ths mattress up and found it was old and had seen better days.My husband got dressed went downstairs to get phil. He was very apologetic gave us a different room which was bigger and much better furnished but mould around the bath, saying that they'd had africans stay then he said oh yes foreigners were in that room... We showered and got into bed but could not sleep. Next morning at breakfast he asked how we'd slept I said I couldn't as felt cooty well he said that room was ok!!! His attitude was shocking..I didn't want to stay any longer but we'd paid for one more night. Breakfast was OK but not as picture advertised. As we were leaving we offered to pay our bar bill which was for 4 drinks phil said don't worry my apologies again. There was a couple who had a dog staying although advertised as no pets... We were going to book another night before our stay but glad we didn’t. I would never stay there again its seen better days could do with complete overhaul you get what you pay for cheap and nasty. Although they were both extremely friendly they are also very racist.
