Fine Airport Option
Reviewed 15 august, 2022
Courtyard Greensboro Airport - Stay Report 8/12 to 8/13 Location: The hotel is located in a cluster of hotels off NC-68 just south of I-40. It's next to a Clarion, Home2Suites, Hampton and Residence Inn. NC-68 has plenty more such hotels and the occasional restaurant and gas station. GSO itself is about 10 minutes away. Because of the design of the airport this is about as close as every hotel save the on site Marriott is. Hotel: Your standard out by the highway Courtyard. It had a big enough parking lot at least along with a Bistro which was open late along with a two computer business center in the lobby. They also have two elevators which is a rarity for a CY and cuts down on lines. Do note they're still following BS COVID protocols. Check In: I was asked if I wanted points or a $10 F&B Credit and that was it for any Titanium recognition Room: Standard early CY design with the bed facing the window and the weird oblong couch. Everything worked as it should including the outlets near the bed and the Wifi. I will note that because of the stupid policy to have large bottles of product in the shower I had two conditioners and a bath gel and no shampoo. Overall a fine option for an airport overnight. I wouldn't stay longer due to the lack of housekeeping though.
Convenient to the interstate

This location is convenient to the interstate but other than that it's nothing special about it. The first time I stayed there (April 2021), I had to request fresh sheets because the ones on the bed didn't look clean. Last week (August 2021), I had the forethought to bring my own linens and pillows. I'm glad I did because the housekeeping at this locale still isn't great. The sheets did look or smell clean and the room had an odd smell. The next time I'm in the area, I'll probably stay somewhere else.

We were traveling through and stayed in the Courtyard by Marriott Greensboro Airport for one night. This property is clean and quiet. It was easy to get to from the interstate. Our room had all of the conveniences we needed and was clean. We would stay here again.
Not impressed at all

This was probably one of the worst run Courtyards I’ve ever stayed in. Staff was semi friendly. Several were dressed unprofessionally- black hoodies, flip flops, out of uniform. Rooms were not very clean, was charged $11 for 2 eggs. Oh well the best was my shuttle driver. After I called requesting pickup they arrived in an unmarked white van. The lady driver was nice. Once we arrived at hotel the shuttle driver checked me in at front desk (obviously she was training for that job). Later the next day the same shuttle driver/front desk clerk was also cleaning my room! Wow this sweet lady does it all. I guess they are short staffed. I can handle that. My problem is the lack of attention to appearance. It seems you can wear anything to work at this hotel. Lots of other options near the airport. Next time I will stay somewhere else.

No complaints at all. Very nice upscale hotel. Nice accommodating staff. My room was decorated modern and was comfortable. We had the king room with a sofa. I cant say enough good things about this hotel.
