My father and I arrived late in the evening due to a late flight. We were not let into the hotel. Staff was so rude to us! They charge your card right away instead of when you check out. The room was horrifying! Stains on the sheets, no hangers in the closet, shower head held together by fabric, bathroom door would not close and plastic cups filthy. We were afraid to lay down but also so tired we didn’t want to sleep in our car. Alarm clock didn’t work and you couldn’t not call the front desk because the phone did not have a cord. We were registered for a 3 night stay. We immediately checked out that morning and found a hotel elsewhere. Do yourself a favor...pick another!!!
Disapounted and ripped off
Americas Best Value Inn & Suites - Griffin Griffin Book The Room room not available prepaid on debit card never saw the money or the room returned from a negligent company 615692790 I've sent so many reviews to y'all and expect somebody to get back at me because it's absolutely unbelievable that we booked a room got there the room wasn't available and we can't get our refunded or money or get a hotel room stay. That's absolutely ridiculous I deserve more compensation in this because I've been waiting 3 months I've texted e-mailed y'all several times and no response ever 770-633-3909 call me and I'll tell you details of exactly what happened because I'm not going to text this again
Would not recommend
The facilities was nothing as advertised by the very good rating on Booking.com. The location was sketchy, the lock to access the interior rooms was broken, the rooms and bedding were dirty and smelly and very run down. Very unpleasant stay.
Do not stay here
The floor was sticky, the ac was ridiculously loud, the employees are rude, the remote didnt work, no lightbulbs in the lamps, the phone dodnt work, no tissues in the bathroom. The most terrible motel ive ever stayed in.
Weekend in Griffin
I thought this would be a nice place for a weekend getaway by the pictures online and though the reception and front area was nice and well-kept, I was not impressed with the rooms. The first room didn't look like it had been cleaned prior to my arrival. The beds looked unkempt and when I pulled back the bed spread to check out the linen, the linens were soiled. There were also stains on the bedspread. I went downstairs and requested another room and the second was only slightly better. The rooms are very aged and could stand remodeling, the freezer was overrun with ice, the floors didn't look like they had been swept/cleaned and there were stains on the sofa. I do not feel like I got what I paid for and I will not patronize this location again.
