Hotel sencillo, pero correcto. Las vistas desde las habitaciones compensan lo demás. Butaca de primera línea frente al eiger, jounfrau o al fantástico valle de grindelwald.
Desayuno básico donde las vistas desde el comedor te hacen sentir un privilegiado.
Buen trato del personal del hotel.

Mi esposo y yo estuvimos varias noches en este hotel durante nuestra visita a Grindelwald. Nos pareció que : el servicio al cliente estuvo aceptable, sin gran esfuerzo por parte del personal, la habitación estaba limpia y amplia, pero las almohadas eran muy incómodas y el extractor del baño demasiado ruidoso. No hay internet wifi en las habitaciones, solo funciona en el lobby.

We were staying in family delux room. I would not really qualify it as delux though. The room is not big, but not extremely small, ok for a short stay and if your target is skiing. There’s just enough space to store your stuff, but it is too dark in every corner.
There’s bus connection to railway getting you up the hill, but still to consider enough time for the whole trip.
The personal was helpful and friendly.
There’s a room for ski equipment, breakfast is of good quality, there’s enough choice for everyone.

The room was clean, the beds were small, the view was great.
For the skiers the public bus is only a few meters heading downhill from the hotel door which is really handy. It only runs every half or so, so check the timetable.
The hotel looks great on the outside but feels bland on the inside, staff were very polite but lacked a little bit of that welcoming / homely / nice feeling.
Breakfast was a let down, everything was obviously pre-processed, or of the canned variety. Seriously when you go skiing a nice hearty, healthy breakfast is required. It also lacked choice....
It's not a bad hotel, but personally I would not go back.

We are visiting in SOTC travel group and we joined the tour in Rome from USA. We are staying today and leaving tomorrow this hotel. When we cane to breakfast this morning there was nothing left in vegetarian and when we asked the manager said we should have come in time if we want to eat although we came at 9.09 and the breakfast for the tour was supposed to be from 8,30 to 9.30. He said to just eat paratha and that too without any vegetables or achaar. There was no bread no rolls no hot food no butter no hot coffee no juice . He argued too much and kind of raising his voice. When we asked at the front desk for complaint book , the person said he was the owner and we Indians are destroying the name as the Chinese or Japanese groups come eat and leave on time . It was our fault why we did not come st 8.30 as if this was a BOOT CAMP.
These experiences are ridiculous and I would recommend to boycott this hotel and give the worst ratings. These people have dip the hospitality to the lowest level possible.
