Great hotel and experience

Wonderful boutique hotel in a remodeled 1930 mansion with 10 unique rooms. The room we stayed in was very well appointed and the brick dome ceiling was mesmerizing. The staff were very helpful and professional, greatly appreciated Paulina's help with our Covid travel tests. The location is perfect, mere blocks from Avenue Chapultepec which has many restaurants, bars and coffee cafes. Highly recommend the 6 or 8 course dinner, delicious and beautifully/artistically plated. The garden was lit with candles and one of the most romantic dinners I have had in my life - memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to our return visit. PS - Bed was comfortable with nice bedding.
The best boutique hotel I've ever stayed in.

This is the place! I have never actually stayed in a lovelier hotel. It is quietly elegant, totally beautiful, the service is impeccable, and we had an 8 course tasting meal here that was better than the one we had at Quintonil for literally 1/10 of the price. We will always stay at this place if we have the pleasure of coming back to Guadalajara.
Superb Place for Our Holiday Weekend

There are several aspects of this stay that I would like to point out for those of you out there looking for the perfect place to stay while visiting this amazing city in Mexico (Guadalajara, Jalisco). The main idea we had was to book a Boutique Hotel that could offer a different kind of vibe from the mainstream chain hotels, while ensuring the basic amenities you need were still offered. Well, we found a place that was perfect and then some, not only our basic needs for safety, convenient location, pertinent COVID measures and efficiency were offered but also, we encountered a place with a fantastic history, where very famous people have stayed through the years, a very efficient and experienced staff with an overall customer service level that rates well into the international standards. Take it from a couple that has an extensive share of domestic and international traveling. They have an impressive kitchen service yes, haute-cuisine directed by the renowned Chef John Bertrand, at your service because there are only 10 beautiful suites and that allows for a more personalized service. The food and ambiance -day or night, is only rivaled by the warmth of their staff. They take pride in making every guest feel right at home, when away from home. Finally, it will be unfair to commend one person only so, I will go ahead and express our sincere gratitude to: Paulina and Alex at the front desk (I wish I knew the name of our wonderful maid), Laura and Daniel at the fabulous kitchen, and then our host and hostess Armando and Mrs. Sally at the helm of this well-oiled operation. Bonus: An unexpected and charming bonus that we gladly came across with was Buba, the cute feline that plays an important role of supervisor by day and spoiled companion by night. With the above said, it is with great pleasure that we highly recommend staying in this magic place if you're the type of people that enjoy traveling on the personalized side of the wagon. Happy Trails! Anastacio & Haydeline H.
You should consider staying here when visiting Guadalajara

The small boutique hotel is well-located and surprisingly quiet. Hotel manager Armando Blanquel will make your stay very pleasant. The hotel has added the services of a talented young chef, Daniel Ortega. Chef Ortega prepares 6-8 course dinners most evenings. These dishes are all locally sourced and are Michelin Star worthy. As an added bonus, Mr. Blanquel is your server and takes evident joy in explaining each dish as he delivers it to your table.
Our wedding here was spectacular!

My husband and I were just married at Villa Ganz, and I can’t say enough about how great it was. We had our ceremony in the garden, and Armando organised a beautiful setup with a pergola, beautiful flower arrangements, and all the furniture we needed. We had a four course dinner in the hotel restaurant for 30 people and the food was delicious and service even better. We had family and friends travel from outside of Guadalajara to celebrate with us, and many stayed at the hotel for the weekend. The rooms are beautiful, elegant and classic. My parents were in love with the decor, and the entire hotel has something so timeless about it. We heard nothing but raving reviews from everyone who stayed. The organisation from Armando, Christopher and the team at the hotel was nothing short of perfect. Very little was needed from our side to make the event come to life, even without an event planner to take care of the small details. The venue is perfect for any event - intimate, timeless and beautiful! We even had a dance floor set up in the garden for the party. Staff is absolutely amazing, so helpful and kind. The rooms are all unique but so classic and elegant. We can’t wait to go back and celebrate anniversaries there, as Villa Ganz now holds a special place in our hearts.
