Wow this place is huge and has lotsa activities

There are many different theme areas or buildings within the complex and has lots of activities including water playground (heated pool or onsen is payable though), arcade and play area, shops and restaurants. We were offered free entry into A-Shin Cocoa Farm opposite too. A nice beach (though rocky) is at one end of the resort. We had a nice spacious mezzanine room, only thing is if the interiors and beddings could be of slightly better quality and maintained.

Terrible, run down and overpriced resort in Kenting

The facilities are falling apart. The buildings need a complete refit if not rebuild. There is moss growing in the pools. And the service? Inexistent. We had booked a family room and on paper it looked nice but in reality you get a 25 sq m room with two queen beds on the side of the highway. Also, there really isnt a beach. At least not one where you can swim. And everything including the beach feels dirty. Lastly, it is remote and there are no F and B options. For dinner you can choose between their overpriced crappy buffet or nothing. To add insult to injury however, they have other outlets. They are either not oprned or not serving food. This place is the worst we have seen in Taiwan and is potentially the worst I have stayed at bar a place near KL some years back. But given I paid for this stay, the usd200+ a night feel like a rip off. On a side note, the whole of Kenting is disappointing. It is also the only place in Taiwan where taxis refuse to use their meters

This hotel was very nice. They had a couple restaurants that were very good. The pool area is very nice. They also had staff that would come out to do shows or dances. They have gift shops and entertainment areas for children. It is also right by the water even though the beach there isn't the best. Comfortable rooms and beds, overall a great hotel.

Worst experience in Taiwan

A overpriced run-down hotel in a remote area in Kenting, at the southern tip of Taiwan, you can get way better services and amenities elsewhere with similar price range. Worst of all is how the staffs react to residences’ problem; a dishonest team of staffs, with no intention of helping guests to enjoy their stay here. Booked 3 nights, cancelled and left the resort straight after the first night. Absolutely would not recommend to any travelers, avoid this place if you don’t want to ruin your experience in this country.

Needing a renovation

The hotel is located about 20 minutes ride from Kenting. The Resort has the lobby and then 3 separated buildings where guests rooms are. The all buildings need a strong renovation cause very updated but with a great potential. Our rate included covered parking and breakfast which was good and with a full option of food. The breakfast hall is a little noisy. Time for breakfast is till 12.00 PM. Our room was on 2nd floor in building n. 3, the closest to the seaside and the breakfast hall. Clean and spacious, with a private balcony, but a little old fashioned. Toiletries, slippers and free water. Check in was perfect, with a nice guy speaking a good English but, the day after, I wanted to exchange some money, cause the ATM in the lobby accepts only Taiwan cards (!). Well the two ladies at the reception, who spoke a very few English, didn't exchange my money cause they wanted, again, my passport, which was obviously in my room at the very opposite side of the Resort. Such rude!!
