SIMPLY PERFECT
It was such a great surprise to find that guest house for spending one night after a trip to the Highlands. The owners (James and Alisson) were amazingly nice and welcoming. They were also vey heplful by calling for a cab for the next morning. The place was very clean, confortable and cousy. The bathroom was big, clean with soft towels. The location is also very good, near shops and restaurants . I certainly recomended it.
Well Run and Very Comfortable!
We had just one night in Inverness, and really enjoyed our short stay. The Abermar Guest House was easy to get to, and has off-street parking, which we really appreciated. The hosts are wonderful- very welcoming and kind. Our room on the first floor was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. One huge bonus: small power strips on the bedside tables! We were able to charge our phones without having to move furniture to get to a plug. Such a simple thing, really, but not often thought of, we have found. The location is great- an easy walk to the river, shopping, laundry, and restaurants. Breakfast was also wonderful. Abermar will be our first choice if we are ever able to return!

We stayed at the Abermar B&B for 2 nights and found the hosts extremely welcoming, friendly and willing to assist with their local knowledge. We had a lovely, clean spacious room with amply power points (for re-charging several devices). Our bathroom was huge with lovely fluffy towels and attention to detail like supplying earbuds. Our tea & coffee was re-stocked daily (which has not been the case in other B&B's that we stayed at). Breakfast was wholesome with a lovely selection of yoghurt, fruits and a cook to order hot breakfast if requested. Certainly recommend a stay here.
Ideal guest house in great location
When you look for a good guest house, a good location, welcoming owners a clean and well presented house and a great breakfast are what you hope for. Abermar offers all the above plus some. James and Allison are lovely, giving great recommendations on places to visit or eat. The room was exceptional and no more than a 10 minute walk to the town centre. We will certainly choose to stay here the next time we venture up to this part of the world.
Enjoyable stay!
Stayed here for 5 nights recently and I would certainly recommend it. The hosts are charming, friendly and helpful and the room, large, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are great with the lovely fruit salad each morning and a choice of cooked breakfasts. Ideally situated, quiet location but just a short walk to the shops and restaurants of Inverness. Certainly worth a visit and if we ever revisit Inverness we will definitely stay here again!
