Beautiful Hotel - Wonderful Staff
One of the first comments my husband made after we checked into our room..."this place exceeds my expectations". I did my research before reserving a hotel room...all the reviews were very positive. I called the hotel directly and the staff member was very friendly and helpful. We are so glad we were able to reserve a couple of rooms for a long weekend getaway with a couple of our adult children and spouses. The 2 bedrooms (1 - King Bed & 2 Full Size Beds) units were spacious. Clean. Modern. Beautiful. The bathrooms were very large with nice showers. We had "Courtyard View" ...a partial view of the ocean and a view of the pool. I would have loved an Ocean view room but they are hard to reserve since there are only 20 Ocean View rooms. What was most important to our family was to be in a modern/clean room and to be conveniently located to the beach and restaurants. I would stay at this hotel again. Beautiful place and very friendly staff.
Fantastic Stay
This was our second stay at Ocean Oak and there is a reason we keep going back. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel at home, rooms are clean and modern, the location is great, and it is one of the best resort experiences we have ever had. From the second we arrived the staff treated us like family and made sure to make us feel welcomed. They go above and beyond. It was my husband's Birthday and they had a gift for him and the entire staff signed the card. The rooms are clean and modern. They have a person inspect them before you can enter. There are plenty of supplies to do laundry and dishes and if you need anything, you just call the front desk and they send someone with the items quickly. The location is great. Get a room with a view and you will see the ocean for miles. You can walk down the Beach to attractions or easily drive places. I highly recommend Ocean Oak. We will be back.
Great Resort
Our 2 bedroom partial ocean view suite was located on the top floor and it offered great views of the resort's ammendaties, the beach, and the ocean. Aside from some initial cleanliness issues, the good sized suite more than fulfilled the needs of our party of 3. We really enjoyed our stay and we look forward to staying at this resort again.
Alway an Exceptional Get Away!
Ocean Oak is the BEST managed HGV resort we have visited. From check-in to check-out, we experience superior service. Terry manages a welcoming team at the check-in/check-out desk. John is always available to help with our luggage and provide interesting tidbits of local information. The pool staff are extraordinary, constantly ensuring that seating is distanced and sanitized after every use. Ocean Oak is our preferred home away from home. We absolutely LOVE it!!!
Just What We Needed!
This is our first time visiting HHI, and we hit the jackpot when we decided to stay at Ocean Oak Resort. The rooms are clean and quite comfortable, and we have lots of room. Having a complete kitchen is a bonus, and the balcony is great for either enjoying a morning coffee or evening cocktail. The front desk staff is fully committed to providing top-notch customer service. We’ll be back!
