Beautiful resort with Rooftop pool Wardens!

Costa Hollywood was a very nice place to stay. My husband and I stayed eight days, our first time to the Hollywood area. Costa is centrally located on the broadwalk with beautiful views of the ocean and intercoastal from the rooftop pool. We had a partial ocean view one bedroom suite. The rooms are very modern, spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed. Wonderful check in and out. Top notch and accommodating reception desk. Would definitely return if we didn’t experience the Food and Drink Wardens patrolling the rooftop pool. Apparently, “the over the top” beautiful rooftop pool is leased or managed separately. When the bar was open which was four or five nights during our stay. they DO NOT allow any food or beverages unless purchased from the bar. Drinks are ridiculously over priced. We always patronage hotel bars when on vacation. But felt $8 for a can of beer was ridiculous. And after spending almost $2000 to be approached for drinking a diet coke and eating a bag of chips while relaxing by the pool was unacceptable. So if you enjoy purchasing your own drinks and relaxing by the pool - FORGET it! The two men that patrol will not let it happen and you will be approached. So for this reason we would probably choose a hotel without food and drink restrictions by the pool.

The resort is clean. Staff is friendly. Really nice roof top pool area. The walls are super thin as we heard a party going on in the floor above us from midnight until 5:30am. Kept us up most of the night. Not sure what the point of the “loud noise” device that was mounted to the wall was. Overall very clean place. The beach is steps away with access to Boucher Brother rental beach chairs and umbrellas. One of the best parts of the trip. Darvin and Matej delivered professional and excellent customer service during our trips to the beach. Keep up the good work. We will definitely return to this resort.

Came down today to get the complimentary chairs from the Costa Hotel and the experience was great. It was very busy and despite all we were still seated in good spots and received kind and helpful service from Darvin, it was a busy day but he served us as if it were only us. Highly recommending Boucher Brothers by the CHC.

We really enjoyed my cousin Birthday on Hollywood Beach. Darvin was so helpful we rented the chairs and umbrella. He set everything up for us and was able to assist when our umbrella was trying to get away because it was a bit windy.

From the moment to arrived to the time we checked out we had a great experience with all the staff. Kizzy (valet) was one of those people, fabulous Canadian friend! Everyone was courteous they always beat me to my car door and would open it for me, being from Chicago I have rarely had a valet service do that, unless at the higher end restaurants. The staff always greeted us with smiles and once we got to know them more we had jokes and fun comments to share. We laughed and they made us feel welcome and more than just another couple. Thank you, to everyone we interacted with I apologize for not including everyone’s name, but you made our trip special and memorable.
