Wonderful B&B

Lovely accommodation and a very friendly welcome from the owner. We stayed one night and enjoyed the short walk into the village centre. Our small dog was made welcome also. Breakfast was perfect. Would highly recommend.

Lovely, accommodating and really friendly welcome

Reviewed 17 april, 2021

Because of lockdown rules, we were only able to stay in a self-contained accommodation so we (my wife, daughter and I ) couldn't stay in the farmhouse that has the family room, so we stayed outside in the cabin. Suzanne couldn't have been more helpful and she was so friendly and welcoming. She put a temporary bed in for our daughter: it wasn't really made for three but it was just fine. We had our own toilet, shower and sink as well as a microwave, tv, wifi, toaster, cupboard, kettle, tea, crockery, towels bedding and soap etc and even a small oven (that we didn't use). It was spotlessly clean and the plasterwork was strangely flawless! I know that's weird to say - but it struck me; the place is in excellent shape. We had a lovely (and sunny area) directly in front of us with an outdoor table and three chairs and the whole front opened up with bifold doors. We were only there one night but it was super and so very tranquil. Thank you.

Treated like friends

Myself and my partner stayed here on a Saturday night whilst attending family function nearby. Suzanne's son showed us to our room and she came shortly after. Very welcoming and friendly. The whole family are. Nice cosy feel off farmhouse lovely quiet place to stay. Its a working farm with livestock Horses Sheep and Dogs but nice and homely. We had cooked breakfast in the morning nice and relaxed informal which we prefer. Very clean and tidy nice room with en-suite. It is via a bumpy lane but if you drive steady its not an issue. Would stay again Thank you to Suzanne and her family x

Very good farmhouse B&B

Reviewed 22 june, 2013

If you enjoy staying in a working farmhouse environment then I would recommend Marsh Farm B&B. The farm is down a narrow lane (watch the potholes!). On arrival we met the owner's son who showed us to our room within the farmhouse. Room was a good size with a double and a single bed and a large ensuite shower room which was very clean. There is a lovely view of the fields from the room as well as the farmyard to the right. When we got back early evening we met Suzanne (the owner) who was a lovely lady and very friendly and welcoming and offered us tea. Nice breakfast served in their study. A very relaxed and informal environment. Be aware that this is a working farm with sheep and cattle and if you're a dog lover there are 4 dogs on the property (yes they barked when we arrived but they are very friendly dogs and more than happy to roll over for some fuss). Excellent location and there are 3 pubs within walking distance - we tried the Friendly Spirit (excellent pub food), lots of walks and Oatley Vineyard (a 2 mile walk away, excellent wine) and don't miss the Cannington Walled Gardens. Excellent value @ £60 a night for the room and just a couple of minutes off the A39.
