RELAXING MUCH NEED STAYCATION FOR OUR FAMILY
My family and I are from Oahu & during this COVID period we needed an escape! EMBASSY WAIKIKI was a complete dream for our stay. First of just wanted give a shot out to Natalie Caceres for all her hospitality and organization in helping us with our stay, very much appreciated! It started upon check in- guess what you can check online & even receive your hotel key on your phone- no need to be in actual contact with anyone. Embassy Waikiki sits 2 minutes away from beach access. Our family loves to surf so we brought our boards. Our room was absolutely breathe-taking, my kids love staying at hotels & were so happy to just get under the comfy blankets and pillows. We were able to see the ocean from our balcony & watch the sunrise & sunset. The hotel provides free breakfast every morning (which was a treat) & we sat on the balcony in complete zen enjoying our view & stillness. We ordered YARD HOUSE which is in the hotel & they were able to deliver to our room and we received a 10% discount for staying in the hotel. Our family relaxed, surfed, ate great food, and played board games during our stay. Thank you to the valet who were so welcoming and also always had smiles on their faces when greeted. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Can't wait to see you guys again soon!
Beautiful relaxing family staycation
I could not say more about this hotel - it was the perfect little getaway for my small family. With all that’s going on, taking a little break from our house was just what we needed to reconnect, relax a little, but still be able to work, our daughter distance learn, & spend some quality family time. Easy connection to the WiFi made our work and learning seamless. The close accessibility to Take-out that we could have in our room, tied it all together. Natalie was so amazing in helping this stay come together - she was available whenever I needed a question answered. Our valet and bellman staff made us feel right at home, had the amazing aloha spirit and were so friendly. @wesleysargentdesigns had set up a beautiful little picnic for our girls birthday and it was beyond anything we could ask for. Made her feel so loved and special! We know that during this time, everyone is feeling cautious and with the easy access to sanitizers, masks on everyone, and the cleanliness of everything, we felt safe and secure throughout our stay. You cannot be disappointed staying here. It was the most relaxing time we’ve had in a while! Highly recommend!!
SO COOL
traveled back in 2017 My first time in Hawaii & the hotel was so cool!!!!!!!! When you arrived, there was a *waterfall* out front, the surfboards lockers & the driveway was open to the first floor so the front desk was outside!! SO COOL!! They offered drinks, i don't remember what they were but they were delicious! They had non alchohol and alcholic drinks. I really loved the vibe, everyone was so nice. Check in was quick, a little loud just because it's partly outside and a good amount of people were wating to get cars and check in - nothing to bad. The rooms were beautiful, we had 2 suites. Each had a balcony, one with a view of the pool area, the other with a view of the beach walk. They had a living room, 1 bed room had a king bed and on suite bathroom, 2 queen beds and an on suite bathroom as well. You can walk into the living room on in from the 2 queen bed room. Breakfast was good!!!! They also had nightly singing whic was awesome as well. RECOMMEND 10/10 100
Superior Service
A month following my arrival to Hawaii, my family joined me and were required to quarantine for 14 days at the Embassy Suites, Waikiki Beach. Due to forces well beyond our control, Hawaiian government officials put in place strict COVID-19 guidelines; making it incredibly difficult to function. The entire Embassy Suites/Hilton staff made an extraordinarily difficult situation much easier to endure. In particular, the food & beverage staff preparing breakfasts for those of us staying here were warm and inviting. Each of them were courteous and cheerful to a fault. Also noteworthy: we found the entire front desk staff/reception superb and accommodating, among them Mr. Matt Szabados. For a couple of weeks during the quarantine I wanted to ensure my family had fresh coffee, juice and a decent breakfast. The Embassy Suites' management and staff displayed a level of professionalism and friendliness rarely found in the service industry, which I truly appreciated. The Embassy Suites turned an otherwise unpleasant set of circumstances into something much more manageable. They've unfailingly brought their good humor, humanity, and service-minded approach at the moments when most needed. As a side note, we appreciated the Nestle coffee service (reminded us of Europe a little). The facilities were well maintained and clean. You will not be disappointed.
Good for ADA & Wheelchairs
I've been meaning to write this review for a while but life got very busy since we stayed at Embassy Suites last November. I just have to let you know that if you need ADA accessibility, this is the place! It worked for us anyway! Both my parents have forms of demetia and their bathroom was being remodeled. We needed a place for 14 days that could accomodate 2 wheelchairs. My sister and I were going to stay and care for them in the hotel. We were able to get the best 2-bedroom suite with a large ADA bathroom. Both wheelchairs fit easily. The toilet, roll-in shower with built in bench and sinks were all the right heights and were so easy to use. The balconies were great & we could see enternainment outside on certain evenings. There was a ramp over the glass door tracks so we could wheel them onto the balcony. That was really fun for my parents. Housekeeping service was outstanding and they were able to help with every request we made from changing the beds on certain days to extra towels and bedding to cleaning our rooms when we were out for breakfast. That made it so much easier since our suite was a little crowded with the 2 wheelchairs & a caregiver who came to help us during the day. Foodservice was on a different level! There's no restaurant inside the hotel but there are lots of places right outside We all enjoyed the evening reception at the hotel with snacks/appetizers and music. We ordered room service a few times and the food was great. We were never unhappy with anything we ordered. But I have no words to describe the COMPLIMENTARY breakfast except fabulous!!! (Did I say complimentary?) The buffet selection was great especially the made-to-order eggs. Imagine having to wheel two wheelchairs through the halls and through tables to find seating in a crowded venue. Not fun but after getting to know us and seeing us down there day after day, the staff started taking especially good care of us. They would try to hold the handicap tables for us when they could or moved tables so we could get the wheelchairs positioned. The cooks knew that my dad ate the same 3 fried eggs every day and had them ready when they saw us walk in. I was blown away! That was so helpful one day when the line was almost out the door & the cook signaled to me to come get my dad's eggs. I almost cried. I was so grateful. That was so thoughtful and exceptional customer service. We also took a while to finish breakfast but never felt rushed even though we were the only ones left sometimes. The only downside was the wait for the elevator. Since we had two wheelchairs & the elevators were crowded, we had to travel apart sometimes. But big mahalo to housekeeping and room service folks. They saw us waiting & let us use something else. Not saying what since I don't know if it was allowed. But again, exceptional customer service. Hallways were wide enough and there were so many ways to get around easily. Just watch the stone walkway downstairs in front of the shops on beachwalk. Very bumby and uncomfortable for the wheelchairs. Very clen self-service laundry room with adequate number of washers & dryers which we had to use every day. Nice fitness center with usual equipment. They had valet parking only & even the bell service was great since we had to haul so much stuff with us. I could go on and on. Thanks to everyone there who made it so much easier to deal with two people in wheelchairs for 2 whole weeks. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. True aloha spirit! I was proud to be from Hawaii & see us represented so well!
