I didn't have the best experience here. The staff are all very friendly. The hotel itself is dated. I got locked out of my bathroom the first day, the receptionist needed to open the door with a paperclip. Then the hook on which I hung my towel in the bathroom fell off the wall. The gym is ok, but has an incomplete set of weights. The hotel has free parking and is close to lots of restaurants, which was convenient.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights for the first time, and we will never stayed at another hotel when we go to Houston. Our experience was way above expectations. The hotel was very clean, the personnel extremely friendly. The room very spacious, we love the kitchen and the size of the desk was great. The location is incredible, it is located at a very quite street but close to many good restaurants and shopping areas. We had a wonderful time and we will always be staying there if availability permits. We loved Jennifer and the other Manager too. Thank for everything!

We checked into the Candlewood Suites (Houston CityCentre) in early-Sept for a 10-day stay. We have stayed at this Candlewood Suites location before and really like the location due to its proximity to many restaurants and close to CityCentre and Memorial City Mall. Also really enjoy the clean rooms, in-room kitchens and the free washers/dryers that are provided. Our check-in was handled by Anjunnette Campbell in a very prompt and professional manner. We were tired after a long flight to Houston and our keys were ready when we arrived at the hotel and Ms Campbell had us checked-in and on the way to our room within a minute. We were given a lovely room but unfortunately had a small air conditioning issue during the course of our stay. Anjunnette Campbell was working the front desk when I notified the hotel of the a/c issue. Ms Campbell came to look at the a/c but noted it was something that could not be resolved that day. So she quickly arranged for us to move to another room that was equally as nice as our initial room. The quick response by Ms Campbell towards investigation our a/c issue and getting us relocated to a new room was greatly appreciated.

This is our go-to hotel when we visit Houston every six months. The neighborhood is within walking distance to the City Centre. There are restaurants close by, along with a grocery store and other shopping opportunities. It is not far from the Memorial City Mall. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms have a kitchen with a regular size refrigerator, a stove top, and dishwasher, and it is equipped with dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans. The hotel has a market place for food and free guest laundry, which we appreciate. We prefer the room with the living room and kitchen with a separate king bedroom. For our longer stays, we enjoy the extra room.

I have stayed at Candelwood Suites At City Centre, three times in the past few months and shall return again later this month. The facility is located conveniently in the energy corridor and City Centre. Candlewood Suites is not a new facility. With this in mind, the rates are reasonable for the location and you are a short distance to restaurants, shopping and the Energy Corridor. I cannot say enough about the staff. Each time I have stayed, they have been welcoming, professional, knowledgable and familiar with the area. I have appreciated their recommendations and have felt safe and comfortable.
