Air conditioner sounded like a jet engine every time it ran. Not quiet at all. And then the person in room directly above me kept slamming doors, walking around like a herd of elephants and doing who knows what late into the night. Bathroom tub could use a replacement along with wood. Rusted metal for bathroom lights. Bent metal rods on towel rack. First I’ve ever seen…a door that is not straight but curves upward on bottom

We stayed here on the last night of our tour of Texas. The hotel was spacious and the room was more than large enough. Special mentions must go to Chris who greeted us with a humour and warmth that was tremendously entertaining. If there are any casting directors out there looking for their next sitcom star then you could do worse than seek this guy out! Special thanks as well to the lovely Jerome who picked us up from the airport and took us back again the next day.

RUNl Dangerous area! and to add insult to injury I fell in the hotel with the general manager a few feet away& he did absolutely nothing. You're better off staying @ the BATES MOTEL. Foul odor in room
The excellent reviews must be the main building...

...because the second building, at least the 5th floor where my room was for the night had the tired old musty motel with a somewhat new coat of paint feel. The staff without a doubt are super nice, but for the price, there are several very nice hotels in the same range. I woke up early, went to drive somewhere for breakfast, the gates were locked (thankfully not an emergency). The card reader at the "main" gate doesn't work to get in or out, too. Not being a fan of politics, I especially do not like it when you get to the room, turn on the TV for CNN to be what pops up, why can't it be the weather channel or something. Simply put, I don't think I'll be staying here again.
Superior service with this hotel and Casey at the front desk.

Our stay at this Holiday Inn has been one of the most pleasant hotel stays that we have had for quite some time! Every little detail seemed to be taken care of before we could even ask. We were able to park our vehicle here while we were gone (took a flight out of town). We were able to utilize a free 24 hour airport shuttle to and from the hotel. Even though our flight left before breakfast was being served, they still had fresh fruit available to grab on our way out the door as well as fresh coffee. The hotel was nice, clean, and felt safe. The very best part for us was a gentleman named Casey who just went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of to make things easier for us. Between the overall service of this Holiday Inn and the personalized service from Casey, I could not have asked for a better experience with a hotel. I will definitely make plans to stay here again the next time I am in Houston!
