Very Nice
Very close to the Matalascanas beach, and to town, and its amenities. Very Nice rooms, and nice service. The Staff is great, always in place, and ready to help. Great pool, and exterior bar and garden. Exclusive beach access.
Standard rooms not recommended
If you go to this hotel you should book the suites of the corner of the fourth floor, they are modern and have excelent areas. Standard rooms are not recommend. In fact the standard rooms are very small (even for a couple) and old fashion. We had to make an upgrade after we arrive and saw the standard rooms. The main swimming pool is closed, for what I could understand due to a legal problem related to the protected area of 'Dona Ana'. But there's another swimmingpool (not so big) working. The location of the hotel is very good with direct access to the beach. Food and bevarage with good quality.
Like we expected, medium
We went to this hotel with medium expectations. Better because otherwise we would be very disappointed. The hotel is rated with 4 stars, which is really weird. Because it is old and basic. The service is good, only we had a bad experience with the responsible of the eating area, who treated us with disrespect. The hotel is not for couples or young people who just want to relax. For families it is perfect.
Great facilities and beaches
New and refurbished facilities. Fantastic beach and very good meal, buffet. Dance and music in the evening. Two swimmingpools and kid activities. In front there is a park. We enjoyed three days. I would repeat.
Just don't bother!!
The pools advertised i.e. two kidney shaped pools are closed and whilst they have opened two pools one of which is very small, it isn't enough for a hotel of this size. It's meant to be a non-smoking hotel, however, the corridors stink of cigarette smoke. Meal times are served at rigid times which you have to choose for the entire duration of your stay when you check-in. The food is fresh but quite 'samey' and there appears to be a great deal of waste. The waiters were helpful but they were overworked and too busy to be attentive. The meal times are so concentrated that the noise levels are unbearable. All in all, a really unpleasant stay.
