Nice place to stay!

We stayed here quite a few places in the past even though we have a cabin only 10 minutes away. During family reunions we chose to stay here do to lack of space at the cabin or when it was closed for winter. We’ve always had a comfortable stay here. This time we stayed was no different aside it was unexpected. My daughters and I were at our cabin for 2 nights and came back from the beach the 3rd day to have water problems and to discover a snake got inside our living room. My daughter who found it was so upset the same as me. We thought going to a hotel for the night would be relaxing. Thankfully they had rooms available for walk ins like us. The staff was friendly as always. There is a small indoor pool, gym and hot breakfast in the mornings. At least the dates we stayed there.
Worked just fine!

Great for one nite stay. Room was immaculate. Bed comfortable. Fast food and gas - Sheetz by hotel. Restaurants Kellys Korner and Donnas nearby. Plenty of parking even for those pulling boat trailers for Raystown. Covid 19 regs in effect so breakfast is limited. Outside of a drunk being boisterous at 230AM. short duration, all went well. Unfortunately some people have no class .The maintenance of this comfort Inn is exceptionable Would we stay here again - definitely !
Desk person: no mask, hand sanitizer dispenser was empty, poor social distancing for breakfast

The room was bleak, horrible lighting (no ceiling lighting, no lamp by chair). Train ran by every 30 minutes. Shower curtain rod falling out of wall. Surprisingly they had old school buffet (bacon/eggs) ; tables right next to buffet. Overall, not a fan. I would not stay there again.
Nice place to stay to scout the Lake

We usually rent a cabin when we go to Raystown, but without our family and just for an overnight trip,we chose the comfort inn. The staff was helpful and friendly. The Room was nice. Everything in Huntington is very close by. After hanging out all day at the wake we even went back to the indoor swimming pool and hung out there for a while. In these times when you need to get away for a bit it was the perfect trip and the 1st thing that we have done since the pandemic. And we really had a fun time.
Really cheap and get what you pay for

Rate was under $70 including tax and fees so possibly worth it. Beds and pillows fine. First room the sheets had not been changed (dust, debris, hair). They changed our room, 2nd room lamp by the bed didn't work, fridge made a clicking sound so we unplugged it, tub drain didn't stay open so when you took a shower you ended up in a bath. We may come back through here and depending how broke I feel I'd try it again or stay at the Fairfield.
