Beach Restaurant
Hotel is beautiful and an amazing place for photo sessions. We have spent two days and ended up with the most beautiful results - photographer highly recommended! All the people we met while staying here are genuine and very welcoming, this was really the highlight of our stay - everyone starting from gardeners to the managers - always smiling :) Very big congratulations to the General Manager on keeping such a lovely team. We do consider to return just thanks to the staff. Now to the thing which spoiled our stay and is worth mentioning - Beach Restaurant. Food was served twice reheated and caused me and my partner both to have upset stomachs and vomiting throughout the night. While mentioning this to the manager we were advised that this must be a weather change - failing to see that we are both from Egypt and the standard lines that are always advised in the hotel to tourists do not apply to us. As the cherry on top on our last day iced tea was served to me with an insect in the glass. I dont know if during our visit someone who handled this restaurant was not in the mood or something else went terribly wrong - for the sake of such a nice hotel i hope you will look into it.

We spent a wonderful time with excellent frendly service. We had a nice room with a big balcony, poolside and a very friendly room service boy. We can recommend the Iberotel Makadi Beach and very much hope to return!
Best wheelchair access
This hotels amenities are all easily accessible by wheelchair. All of the staff are always smiling and fun and service is second to none. It is not something faked but actually bred from their hearts. The standard of room cleaning was perfect and coffee was topped up generously every day. The food was catered mainly to the Germans but we found something delicious at every meal. The senior management are all very approachable and can be seen most days in the grounds. The only small criticism is that we had lunch at the beach side restaurant the first day and it tasted as if the fish had been microwaved and was rubbery. Would certainly recommend.
Lovely hotel with friendly staff
We are recently returned from this lovely hotel which is closing because of Covid19. What a great shame. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, the food and drink were good and the staff were amazing. We enjoyed the beach although it could be windy but the heated pool made up for that, We particularly enjoyed the Beach Restaurant.
In praise of the staff at the Iberotel Makadi Beach in these difficult times
As the planes fly out and this hotel empties, the staff here should be praised for their professionalism and care for the guests in these difficult times. They continue to serve, smile and look after us, in spite of their own worries about families and their own livelihoods. Please do think about them and return here as soon as you are able. This has been our fourth visit and the reason that we come back is because of brilliant team of staff and the welcome provided.
