More about the hotel
Unacceptable!
I pre-paid for a King size room for an anniversary weekend. When I arrived at 10pm, I was told my room had sold out, and my only choice was 2 double beds. I want to make it clear I did not "reserve" the room, I specifically pre-paid to ensure I would receive the room. The check in staff was extremely rude, saying I had no choice as they were "real busy", and if I had checked in earlier I could have gotten my room. Unacceptable.
Essential Break Needed
I stayed at the Sheraton Keystone at the Crossing right before the holidays in December 2020. As an essential worker in the hospital, it was definitely a break that was long overdue. The check in process was very simple and the front desk staff were extremely helpful. The manager named Josh S. went above and beyond his job duties to ensure that every aspect of my stay was well received. He also provided me with free room service. When I say that I haven't received the kind of hospitality provided by Josh in many years and given the stress and strain working at the hospital during a pandemic can cause, it was absolutely appreciated. The room that I stayed in was a King Suite on the club level. The bed is very spacious and extremely comfortable. The room faces the east and has floor to ceiling windows which makes for a fantastic view of the early morning sunrise. It also comes with a walk in shower which was perfect because I had a broken foot and made for easy access. There are 2 large flat screen tvs in the living room and bedroom that also include access to streaming services which is a bonus. There is ample closet space and a standard desk area for work purposes. I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton and will definitely be staying there in the future. I recommend rooms 927 or 1227.
Average only because of location Location - Hotel itself is Very so-so
We stayed in room 823. Staff is great - location is great. Dining and shopping within walking distance. There Hotel is showing its age. Carpet in our room was filthy. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Hallways smelled like pot smoke. parking garage was Mad-Max-like, Lined with Trash and vomit. Even with the good price, we would not stay here again.
Disappointing to say the least
There was a smell of marijuana in the halls and in the elevator the whole weekend. Dirty and dated. Used to be a nice hotel. The price of the room was good but also reflects the condition and activity
Excellent Location but few things didn't work
Excellent location, room was good. But few things didn't work. The room key didn't work for parking garage even though I paid a parking package. There was a complete lack of clarity on how and where to use the Breakfast Amenity ( no answer on the amount of credit) at this time, when there are reduced services ( no Club, no pool, stopped by restaurant twice, looked close to me). Even though advised during the check-in, that breakfast for 2, can used for Room Service, but was charged for full amount of breakfast items ordered through room service. During Check-out was told that it can be used only at the cafe!!!, was advised that Manager on Duty would call to further discuss on this issue, nobody called back. Bad experience, in future, probably need to record any check-in and check-out conversation, when they don't have their rules documented anywhere.
