Beautiful & comfortable hotel, but lacks basic amenities

Reviewed 14 january, 2020

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are modern and extremely comfortable. My only complaint is that the internet doesn’t work in neither the bedrooms or in the lobby. Also, pool service is extremely slow. It takes 30+ minutes to get a beer and an juice. I recommend it for relaxation, but if you need internet for work, you’ll be stressing out because it’s not reliable at all.

Nice hotel with beautiful view over the bay

Reviewed 12 june, 2019

After a long drive from San Pedro the first impressions of Iquique were not so positive: a busy, noisy, not too clean port city. Fortunately, the hotel is located outside of this bustle in a neat neighborhood on the beach. They don't have much parking space for such a high tower. Fortunately there was still room in their small underground parking garage. The reception at the reception was smooth, friendly and in English. We were given a room on the 8th floor. Our first impression was "WOW". A spacious suite consisting of a room with a large double bed, terrace and flat screen, a separate sitting area with sofa, desk and another flat screen and a bathroom with shower, sink, bidet and toilet. Unfortunately, the shower faucet did not work. The technician came by quickly but could not solve the problem. The very friendly clerk at the reception apologized to us and promised an upgrade on the top floor. However, this room was exactly the same size, with an equally large bed, a larger terrace and a more spacious shower, but without a sitting area. I would not really speak of an upgrade here, but well, the problem with the shower was solved and the view was grandiose. We have eaten in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious. Also the breakfast the next day was as it should be.

Nice location

Reviewed 31 january, 2019

Even though the hotel seems to be built in the seventies, the swimming pools are in a good shape and the location is two minutes from playa Cavanchaca. Nice view, relatively silent, small rooms, but a nice breakfast buffet. The spa is not really a spa, but an old auna with a shower, the second one isn‘t even in service. It would be advisable to instruct the room service not to just enter the room when the „Don‘t disturb“ sign is put on the door.

Middle class hotel

Nice view, located only two minutes from Playa Cavancha, on the peninsula of the same name, only minutes from a nice restaurant and restobar sector. The hotel seems to be built in the late seventies, specially the spa sector needs an urgent upgrade. Also, it would be advisable to instruct the room service not to enter when the corresponding advice is put on the room door. Delicious breakfast with a broad variety of fresh fruit juices.

Friendly staff and good location

We stayed for a couple nights while visiting Iquique. There is a lot within walking distance, including easy beach access, and the staff members were very helpful. The room was average - comfortable but could use an update.
