Amazing holiday and hotel!

Reviewed 26 february, 2023

We stayed at the Haze Karakoy for 8 nights in January and we had an amazing time. The hotel has an excellent location and the rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The hotel restaurant is on the seventh floor and has a magnificent view of Istanbul. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The staff are so friendly and helpful and really make you feel welcome. We would like to thank the hotel manager and the staff on reception. A very special thanks to Mehmet Emin who was so professional and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel. We hope to return.

A pleasant hotel, unbeatable view from roof restaurant

Reviewed 24 december, 2022

The room was pleasant, with all necessary amenities, not too loud, though the window pointed to the street below. The staff was very helpful and polite. The breakfast was very good and plenty Turkish food. Breakfast is served in the roof restaurant which has an outstanding view. The location is very convenient, close to the Galata bridge with many public transport options. The area has nice restaurants and tea/baklava/sahlep places. Heartily recommended

Romantic hotel with amazing views and excellent service

Reviewed 11 november, 2022

We had the luxury of staying in the penthouse suite. Just two of us with two spacious rooms, two bathrooms and a big rooftop terrace with beautiful views. Big comfortable beds. Easily sleeps two couples and two small children on sofa bed. Service was excellent especially Rafi the manager. There was an event in restaurant upstairs playing very loud music one night. To apologize for the noise the manager treated us to a very delicious dinner in the rooftop restaurant which had excellent food, great service and amazing views. Breakfast was beautifully presented. Very romantic and enjoyable experience.

A good place to be based

This hotel is very well-located for accessing the historical peninsula. Takes about 25 mins walk or 15 mins on the tram to reach the Hippodrome. The rooms are on the small side but are well equipped and comfortable. If you have a room at the front it will be nosiy and quite bright in the rooms due to the next door restaurant. Breakfast is good you won't need lunch and comes with a spectacular view from the 7th floor.

Great location, Clean Rooms & Fantastic Staff

Stayed at the Haze for a total of 7 nights. The hotel was is centrally located in Karakoy and close to many restaurants, shops, transit and Galataport. A quick 10 minute walk up to Galata Tower (steep footpath) and then you can continue to Istiklal Street and other points of interest. 3 minute walk to Galata Bridge that takes you over to all the sites in Sultanahmet. I walked to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque within 20 minutes (just follow the tram tracks). If you need anything while at the hotel, contact Fatih at the front desk. He went above and beyond. I needed a new lock for my suitcase, instead of telling me where to get one, he went out and purchased one for me. That saved me the hassle and time. I also am a light sleeper and found the traffic noise (horns) to be a bit of a nuisance. He moved me to a quieter room without any hesitation. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The restaurant on the roof offered great food and stunning views of Istanbul. I would not hesitate to stay at the Haze again.
