Very good hotel friendly staffs very quiet and it’s great for families good location in the middle of Istanbul now need transport the reception very helpful great team I’m extremely recommended this hotel I can’t wait to visit them again food just excellent Also good price too Thank you for all workers at this hotel making our holidays great
Travelled to Istanbul for a short break amidst the Covid-19 pandemic with family & the hotel exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff, rooms were already prepared and all our needs accommodated for. Hand sanitiser was readily available & face masks were worn. The hotel has really made excellent use of the space as from outside it looks quite small however a different story once you're in! Rooms are spacious and well equipped, cleaned daily and thoroughly by the housekeepers. Fatih, Yunus, Sardar & the rest of the team were extremely hospitable, no request was an issue for them & we felt right at home when we first stepped in. Breakfast was decent enough & guests are welcome to help themselves to fresh Turkish tea, coffee & freshly made dessert in the hotel lobby which is a really nice touch and I have to say it was the best Turkish tea we had during our whole stay. The location is superb. A short walk to Sultanahmet metro stop connects you to the rest of the city. The Blue mosque, grand bazaar & sofia hagia all in walking distance. I have stayed at 4 & 5* hotels in Istanbul & this hotel is just as good without the leisure facilites that higher star hotels offer. Overall, it was an exceedingly positive experience, any issues were quickly resolved & I would not hesitate booking here again & recommend to all. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Intimate boutique hotel
We have just returned from a 5 day stay at this hotel. We had previously visited Istanbul over a decade ago and stayed in a 5 star hotel but much further out. This time we opted to be in the heart of SultanAhmet to be within walking distance of all the attractions and restaurants. We were apprehensive as prior to our arrival as we felt we may have compromised one step too many with the calibre of hotel against location. We arrived early morning with our transfers also being arranged for us by the hotel (€80 from Sabiha Gokchen for a 16 seater) We were greeted by Yunus who was very friendly and informative made us feel very welcome and even reviewed our very busy itinerary and gave us some helpful adjustments with his local knowledge not to mention booking all our restaurant bookings for us too. The room was similar in level to a holiday inn or travel lodge. No frills, just a 5ft bed with 2 further fold out sprung single beds, the shower was a double size with all toiletries and towels included, (hairdryer also already wired in). Kettle, Tea and coffee available in the room, however they are more than happy to make traditional Turkish coffee with a slice of cake in reception for you with a friendly chat. Breakfast was included and had all the basic continental options as well as a traditional Turkish options, they are also happy to make your option of egg omelettes too. This was served on the top floor of the hotel with limited views of the blue mosque. The location was great, literally 3-5 min walk to the Blue mosque, 5-7min walk Hagar Sophia, 3min walk to the Sultan Ahmet tram stop. The grand Bazaar is about a 10min walk. Loads of options to have lunch and dinner to accommodate any budget. The best thing about the hotel was it felt like we were welcomed to their home, nothing was too much trouble. I should also mention Fatih and Sadaar who were just as hospitable. I would not hesitate to recommend them, and more than happy to stay there again on my next visit. The review I have made has to be taken in to context with this being a busy city break with most of the time being spent out of the hotel apart from returning back to sleep. If you are looking to spend a lot of time in the hotel then maybe a higher quality hotel is the better option.
Superb Service and lovely Hotel
Family of 4 stayed for a week, staff were very accommodating and helpful, freshly baked cakes given in reception, tea & coffee offered everytime you passed reception. Rooms were very tidy and clean every day, bottles of water left in room..lovely breakfast, tailored eggs made each day, perfect location, minutes away from main attraction. All reception staff were very helpful, gave very good advice and directions, even helped us out by lending tram cards to save on money. Organised Taxis and even arranged a day trip to the the famous shows-Ertugral Masoleum. We would highly recommend the hotel and especially the lovely staff. Thank you to everyone for a great stay.
