One of my worst hotel experiences. The employees appear to be cheap working labor, not proper employees who have gone through hospitality school/training. This is NOT what I expected (and experienced) of Turkish hospitality. Upon arrival, we weren't even properly greeted and nothing about the hotel amenities was explained. We were just handed the hotel room keys and that was it. Of note, a lot of employees can't speak English, so if you're not a local then good luck. The rooms appeared (!) OK. Upon closer look, it was actually pretty dirty and mold could be seen in the showers. The hotel itself is really run down and should be renovated. At point we didn't even have warm water when showering. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: The rooms are not well insulated in regards to noise! You can hear everything going on in the neighboring rooms and especially the loud music coming from a bar next to the hotel! I already planned on cancelling my hotel stay on the first night due to this. I've never experienced something like this, but the hotel's restaurant is closed at 20:30, which is very early. We arrived late (around 22:00) and wanted to eat something after a long trip. We asked the reception and ultimately ordered takeaway (with a turkish app) and had food delivered, albeit pretty good food. Coming to the hotel's restaurant... It is a joke. We ate breakfast there once (we stayed at the hotel for ~1 week). The restaurant appeared very unorganized. There is no buffet, but waiters come to your table and bring you different types of food. You don't even have a menu and don't know what to expect. THEN, they ask you if you want certain types of food (omelette, pancakes etc.). Since you don't know what else they have (because again, they don't speak well English), you say yes. Upon leaving the hotel, we saw on the invoice that we were CHARGED FOR THE FOOD. They didn't even tell you it costs extra. The hotel's pools are quite nice, with a nice touch/detail that the water is saltwater. However, due to the salt water, you can see rust occurring at different spots around the pool. The only positive aspect to the stay was the beach. They have a very nice beach, even though I was told in hindsight that you shouldn't go to Alaçatı for swimming, as it is a place for watersports. There is a bar/restaurant at the beach (Alaçatı 11), which is alright. The employees of the bar/restaurant are sympathetic, even though communication is again another issue. The food is expensive and a lot of items on the menu are missing (out of stock). A big issue however, is that the waiters are no attentive to their guests. Also, whatever you order (also drinks), expect a waiting time of >30min, even if not many customers are around. We were there in September, so you can imagine how long it would take during high-season. I've also read a lot of negative reviews regarding space/sunbeds when it's high season, especially due to the fact that people from the outside (non-hotel guests) are allowed entry. All in all, a pretty poor hotel experience. Price-performance is very bad for a 3-Star hotel. The price you pay here per night is on par with a 5-Star hotel in Istanbul. Avoid if possible. The one star is for the nice beach.
Best in Alacati!

Really old rooms, nice beach and breakfast

Pros: really nice beach and sea, good breakfast, good service at the breakfast, wide selection of food and drink at the beach club. Cons: Room are in terrible condition, extremely old. Whole hotel is really worn out. Missing tiles in the pool, rust on every metal appliance.
Throw money down the drain

Long story short, be "very" careful asking the view of your room because you can watch a carpark from your room. Not recommended. The staff is lowest quality (literally). Staff members constantly change in a fast circulation. Coming to breakfast. A fresh start to a sunny day, your breakfast is served, mainly consisting of cheese and other cheap items like Nutella and jams etc. But you wait for the bread? Keep waiting because until bread is served, you will be asked 8 times if you want fried peppers and eggplant with yoghurt. Then your tea comes but no sugar. You have to ask for all complemetary needs. We asked "orange juice" for the kids. And reply was "we ran out of orange juice because greengrocer is late". We could not believe in our ears and ordered them to find oranges from the other hotel nearby. They somehow found oranges and brought the juice. It was fantastic, like a motel in a humble village. No orage juice for today, try tomorrow :) Again in the breakfast, we ordered fried eggs. Served properly. Then a bill followed, 30 tl for omelette and 3 tl for the service. After I signed, my wife warned that we have not ordered any omelette. Then they said that the staff is new so they can make such mistakes, and it is being cancelled. If you are not careful, you will be charged for things that you haven't ever ordered. In the beach restaurant, you have to order yur food minimum 4-5 times to different waiters and wait for half an hour to make it served. Their "system" fails several times a day and during those times you can't even order a coffee. Nothing at all. Because the beach is overcrowded with the external guests who can use the beach by paying a daily fee. Don't expect that it is only for hotel guests, no.. Coming to the nice sea. Sea is really nice. Shallow and very suitable for kids. The swimming area is separated with line buoys so motorboats, jetskis etc are kept outside of this area HOWEVER you may suddenly see a motorized surfboard, making slalom through the kids and other people swimming in the separated area, cruising with a really fast speed. It hits your head and thing what happens. When you warn the driver, he tells you that he is riding this since 5 years and he is careful with it. In a threating way. You look for guards, of course not there. Security? Also not there. So you can just drive into the swimming area with your motorized boat and do your tricks near the children swimming there. First class. There are many exclusive experiences that we had here but above should suffice to lead you thinking twice before you decide, Throw your money down the drain and shot your nerves perfectly.
Too expensive for the quality provided

Not a high level considering the price: restaurant and beach service top, room cleanliness and service very bad. We always need to ask for cleaning otherwise they do nothing. Simply not acceptable! I want through an agency and the price was as one EU capital city, but here we are in a beach during the opening season. I don’t suggest you this hotel, in Alacati you can find beautiful boutique hotel with a lower price and a better service. I’ve tried it.
