This is actually dangerous. It’s populated by drug users and prostitutes.

This is a crack house!! No kidding, read the Google reviews… The reception seem to be ‘skimming’ - effectively renting rooms off books to boost their own money. I’d rather have stayed in that terrifying hotel from The Shining. Hotel has changed hands and managed to keep previous higher scoring reviews, offsetting it’s average. On arrival, there was a drug user beached out on the reception room couch. She stared at me with a suspicious eye. I have no doubt she either couldn’t focus, or wanted to rob me. Had she had been less lazy, she may have achieved this objective. The reception clerk was as rude as they come. We were met by a prostitute in the lift who engaged us in prostitute related small talk. Our door wouldn’t close properly as it had been ‘hooli’ barred (basically when law enforcement breach a door). During nighttime hours, you are kept awake by banging on the door and the distinct whispers/ screaming of drug users debating the worlds mysteries. Not trusting the establishment, I confirmed the stairwell escapes were clear (which they were - hence the mandatory 1 star achieved). However they enjoyed a strong odour of thick uncleared crack user urine. My nose still experiences flashbacks in it’s darker moments. Unless you are filming a nature documentary on the effects of drugs, I would avoid staying here. Though you may leave, a part of you feels lost forever. Apparently, if you stay too long, you can succumb to the charms of the establishment and become a permanent drug using resident.

Horrible

Reviewed 28 july, 2022

Horrible place. As soon as you walk in it stinks of smoke and the smell continues to the room. There’s people hanging out outside just watching everyone. No parking even though it says free parking when booking. Tried asking staff where I could park and they were super rude and unhelpful. Save yourself the trouble and DON’T BOOK HERE!

Don’t bother

Reviewed 11 july, 2022

The hotel rooms were stuffy. It is nothing like what you see on your phone. Wifi doesn’t work, front staff is so slow, rooms are super stuffy. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone!! What you see is not what you get. No concierge available zero! A motel would be better

We knew this was not the place when we pulled up

Reviewed 15 october, 2021

My BFF and I arrived at this hotel and knew this was not the place to be but we found parking anyway on the dirtiest garbage-ridden street ever. My friend took pictures so her boyfriend would believe her. We are from Long Island but are in the city frequently and we were like you cannot be serious!. We ventured past some looking shady-looking characters and went inside only to have the girl behind the front desk look dead in our faces and kept doing whatever. Finally, after 5 minutes when her highness gets up from the seat she tells us it was not time to check-in. Thank you!!! we left and never returned. Still working on getting a refund. We are not snobs by any stretch but come on guys you must do better

Buyer Beware, dirty, sketchy place

Reviewed 23 june, 2021

Where do I start? With the needle syringe on the floor of the lobby or the first room having dirty sheets under a made bed? Both are true statements. The first room had dirty sheets, even though the bed was made, and still had potato chips sprinkled on the floor. The front desk gave us a new room without any hassle. The second room was clean, but didn't have any pillow cases. The 2nd room also had a balcony but its door did not have a latch so it wouldn't completely shut or lock. Glad we were high enough, 7th floor, to not be too concerned with break-in. This hotel rents by the hour for "airport layovers" (and is close to the airport), but my money is betting that the hotel is mainly for a different kind of hourly lay. Be sure to scroll past all the marketing pictures and see the images added by actual hotel guests (lots of dirty rooms).
