I never leave reviews. Ever. I booked a 2 queen room online direct through IGH website. Upon check-in, the clerk presented me with a piece of paper to initial and sign with the details of the room. I noticed that the room type said “King with trundle”. I pointed it out to the clerk and she told me that’s what my reservation was booked as. I looked back at my confirmation email knowing that I booked two queens. To my surprise, it pulled up and showed a king bed with pull out trundle. This baffled me because, again, I was sure I had booked a double Queen. I asked if there were any Queen rooms available and she said there were not. Reluctantly, I said we would make it work and checked in. Later, I found the screenshot of my confirmation that clearly stated the confirmation number along with 2 queen beds. Unfortunately, this was no use as there were apparently no queen beds available at all. I don’t know if this is a system error or just straight up dishonesty on the part of IGH. It has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and will factor into my decision when it’s time to book a room again. Aside from those issues, the overall stay left much to be desired when compared with other IGH properties I’ve stayed at. The room was clean. The rest of the property seemed neglected. This hotel is only a couple years old, yet aspects of it would lead the guest to believe that it’s much older. There seems to be a lack of attention to detail. I don’t believe that “covid restrictions” play a part in the restaurant being closed and no breakfast options offered whatsoever. The lady working the front desk at check in around 3:00 pm was nice but it appeared may have been the only employee in the building at that time. The outdoor seating/gathering area was expansive but not inviting. The entire area was dirty and littered with trash and cigarette butts. There was a flat screen TV outside that wasn’t working. The property next door is in a state of disrepair and the pool and pool house (next door) are abandoned and a real eyesore. I understand this isn’t necessarily their fault but it nonetheless puts a damper on the outdoor space. On the way out the next morning, I dropped my keys in the drop box which is right at the front desk. Two employees were completely silent as I left the hotel. Overall, not what I’ve come to expect from the Holiday Inn brand. Definitely would not stay at this location again and I hope this review gets seen by corporate as this particular location doesn’t meet the standards of the company.

It took 20 min to check in bec my reservation "disappeared" off her screen but she didn't know how to make it come back. Finally after using the confirmation # etc etc. it showed up after i stood there for 20 min. The beds were glorious, excellent linens, cozy comforter, room was clean, and we slept well. The manager's name was missing off the wall (I wonder why) Noah was the owner, no last name? I suppose the owner or manager shut down the free continental breakfast even though there were small yogurts to buy with juice etc in the snack area but somehow you couldn't give them to guests. It's just another way for them to take advantage of this Covid mess. The Cracker Barrel across the driveway somehow manages to serve food. The girls manning the desk in the morning were outside doing what I'm not sure. Not refilling the coffee it seems. One small carafe was already empty at 9:00am. One girl rushed in when I came to check out and said "Oh, it is out already" Too much trouble to have two of them out I guess. Poor service.

If I could rate it zero I would - but the system requires at least 1 Star. I booked my room through Expedia and paid in advance. Over the course of the 2 nights I was there I was charged 4 charges totaling $500!!!! I authorized $50 of it. When I brought the first charge to their attention they said they were sorry and they would fix it and it wouldn’t happen again. Then I got 2 more charges the next night. When I was checking out I spoke with the manager. She was very rude and very unhelpful. She said that my card had been switched in the system with the card used to book the room and I’d be refunded part of it. I am livid! $500 is not a small amount and is nowhere close to what this hotel was worth. To add insult to injury, the whole staff was slow and unfriendly and unhelpful. We had breakfast our first morning. They were out of orange juice and out of pancakes. And we waited 45 minutes for our eggs and bacon. NEVER AGAIN

Staff up front is worthless. Felt like I was a pain for asking what side of the building my room was located on so I wouldn’t hear cars fly by on the freeway. Didn’t bother bringing my concerns to the manager on staff. She seemed disturbed about my previous question and didn’t want be bothered. Bed had some nasty mascara on the sheets so I slept in the other bed, Bathroom appeared to be nice, just don’t look up at the ceiling. Construction apparently was never finished. Sheets made my skin feel very itchy. Best part of my stay was the free cookies and the view. Definitely will be calling Holiday Inn for their no hassle Guarantee.
