Great town and tidy motel
The motel itself is not too bad just in need of some love and attention to the grounds and bathrooms. Not very welcoming sight when you first drive up to book in. We had a bright light on outside the back door of our unit which we couldn’t turn off and it lit the room up enough to be a nuisance during the night.
Comfortable stay
This motel is in a good location, walking distance to pubs, cafes etc. The room was large enough, bed was comfortable, the bathroom was dated but the shower was great. A good nights sleep even during torrential rain. Very handy to have a toaster, crockery and cutlery could do with a refresh but adequate.
Adequate for one night
If you are in the middle of a road trip this motel is ok for a night. The bed was much more comfortable than we expected and the shower was good. The room was very tired and the wifi non existent ( we were told that this was because they were waiting for a new modem but in this day and age this is not acceptable. We were not offered dinner.
Comfy stay
Stayed overnight. Very clean, large room. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom ok and water hot! Air conditioning worked a treat. Next to Services Club and a short stroll into town. Lovely outdoor area around pool with tables and chairs. Free bottled water was a nice touch and wifi was good. No negatives at all but a suggestion for a fan in room when airflow needed but don’t necessarily need aircon. Also a screen door so door can be left open onto pool area. Our room had two doors.
COMFY AND CLEAN
Next door to the Services Club Motel is dated and could do with some refurbishment but saying this the room reasonibly spacious with comfortable bed, Toaster supplied as well as kettle do not believe breakfast available , room was clean and split system air con worked well . Manager Billy friendly and bottled water provided free of charge
