On our honeymoon, my fiancé and I who had spent two weeks travelling around Dubrovnik decided to head to Split for four days. We went straight on booking.com and saw Hotel Split Inn by President. Its ad boasted about its ideal location, deluxe rooms and kind staff. Well the ad is completely and utterly misleading. We got an Uber from the centre which took 25 minutes. Once near the location it was in the middle of nowhere surrounded by warehouses and lorries. There is no shops, no restaurants, no pool, no doctors for miles. NOTHING. Once we got out of the car our taxi driver said he struggled to find it and wouldn't recommend staying in this area. We checked in (had already paid online- 708 euros) and went upstairs to check the map but no nothing around us . To be frank it was eerie and I extremely uncomfortable. Our booking said we had a balcony with a city view, it did not specify that it was a shared balcony facing warehouses whereby the rooms next door could walk right up and look through your window, even come in if the door was not locked. I did not feel safe in this area, the hotel was a ghost town and I was upset with being so misled. My fiancé went down to the desk and explained how we felt misled. The lady said all she could do was give him back 30 euros and we should contact booking.com. She smirked the entire time it was appalling and she had no desire to help us. We didn't so much as sit on the bed. We called another Uber and moved to another hotel we had passed in the city. We contacted booking.com whom said the hotel were not responding to there requests and the hotel have ignored our requests for compensation. I do not expect a full refund but 30 euro is highly insulting especially when there ad contained a false reality. I would not recommend staying here whatsoever. Unhelpful receptionists, shocking location and absolutely no consideration for the customer.

El hotel está muy bien, funcional. La habitación amplia y también el baño, aunque no me gustó la bañera pues era muy alta. El desayuno estupendo, frutas , dulces, pan, embutidos..... pero la ubicación muy mala en un polígono industrial a 20/ 25 minutos del centro en cohe.

Muy moderno, buenas instalaciones, personal amable y servicio de comedor, mas que aceptable. El problema es que está en un polígono industrial, lejos de la ciudad, y muy mal comunicado. Sin ninguna instalación ni comercio en los alrededores.

Accueil à la réception désastreux. Nous avons booké une chambre non remboursable. En arrivant avec notre animal de compagnie ils nous annoncent 20€ de plus par jour. Attention aucune indication sur le prix sur booking … puis avec un sourire narquois annoncent vous êtes libre de ne pas accéder à votre chambre mais on garde l’intégralité de la somme. Hôtel aux pratiques plus que douteuses ! A éviter absolument en plus d’être perdu au milieu d’une zone désaffectée.

Ho prenotato insieme ad amici questo hotel ad agosto scorso tramite booking. 2 giorni prima dell'arrivo abbiamo ricevuto una mail nella quale ci spiegavano che per motivi organizzativi ci spostavano nell'hotel President Split; si tratta di una struttura nel centro di Spalato (tralascio i commenti su quest'ultimo hotel). Per curiosità sono andato a dare un'occhiata; l'hotel non esiste. C'è una palazzina nella zona industriale in evidente stato di abbandono. La cosa incredibile è che ancora oggi è prenotabile su Booking. Abbiamo segnalato la cosa a Booking ma ci hanno censurato la recensione! Se non vi piace l'hotel President Split, non prenotate in questa struttura; si tratta di un evidente e geniale metodo per attrarre turisti in un albergo datato.
