Convenient location with comfortable beds!

My husband and I stayed here while exploring the surrounding area. We just happened to visit during the hot air balloon festival which was a pleasant surprise. The balloon festival was literally right next door. We could see a lot of the balloons from our room. It definitely wasn't fancy but very clean and reasonable. The free breakfast was just okay but a lot of hotels have scaled back breakfasts right now.
Mediocre. Sinking hotel foundation.

Pros: - Convenient location 1 mile from the main intersection in Kanab. Plenty of stores and eateries nearby. - Spacious room - Comfortable beds and pillows - Room amenities include refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker - Plenty of parking - Reasonably priced Cons: - As others have mentioned, the building has major structural issues. In the first room I was given, the floor was clearly not level, the door was misaligned and the floor shook every few minutes. I requested to change rooms and it was better on the other side of the hallway. - Thin walls, no soundproofing - Shower with low water pressure - Very soft water, difficult to rinse - No elevator - Wifi requires sign-in every time - Key cards were inactivated hours before check-out times - Poor breakfast
Great service can't make up for a sinking leaning building

The manager, Sam, is as good as it comes. He also hires well as everyone staff encounter we had was outstanding. That said, he's like the best waiter on the Poseidon. It doesn't really matter. The hotel is sinking. Locals say it was build on some sort of clay and not engineered correctly. I have no idea if this is true or not, but can tell you that a golf ball will roll across the floor and in some cases zig zag as well. If you are on the top floor, you will feel you are walking on an incline. You are. There are huge gaps under the room doors. Some interior doors have been removed because there is no way they could get them to work. There are cracks and patches throughout the property, most visible on levels one and two. The rear exit door sticks on the concrete when you open it. It's only going to get worse.
Budget price, first class service

We spent two nights here on a vacation to Bryce and Zion National parks. The first night, there was a lot of noise from the room above ours. We mentioned the noise to Sam, the manager, and he gladly changed our room. Our new room was more expensive, but we were not charged extra. The breakfast was ample and fresh. Very clean rooms and highly recommend.
Great lighting and decent size room

The room was a good size and it also had very good lighting which seems to be an issue in a lot of hotels. Its right off the main road which was good. It was on the outskirts of town but not far at all.
