I’ve seen the negative reviews but really this place was quite nice for what I was looking for: Near the war memorial so I could walk Restaurants nearby - and also the one in the hotel is open for breakfast Coffee downstairs and also in room Nice Aveda toiletries Staff was kind and helpful. The walls were a little thin or the loft style doesn’t allow for the best noise reduction. I could hear my neighbor snoring in the room next door in the middle of the night. This is an up and coming neighborhood and the restaurant right next door is great. Was good for my solo journey.

We have stayed at Indigo Hotels in many cities and this was best! Our room was big and beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Service was friendly. And we could walk to lots of restaurants and bars. Will definitely go on our list of downtown faves!
Pleasant repurposed building into hotel.

My room was amazing. Very clean and well appointed. I stayed two nights. First night was Sunday and some other guests came in late making noise…the really cool vibe includes a lot of exposed older concrete and brick which doesn’t dampen sound. The second night was totally peaceful. I would return. I had no car as I Ubered from and back to the airport.
Poor customer service

Booked a meal through OPEN TABLE and it turns out the restaurant has been closed for 3 years. You would think a hotel could take down their OPEN TABLE site in 3 years. Asked for a manager to call me to share my concern about my experience and nobody did - I had to make 4 calls! There was an apology on my fifth call, but a total lack of responsibility to fix the problem other than "we have no control over OPEN TABLE". I wonder if the hotel is as mismanaged as the restaurant.
Very negative experience

I want to like this place. I visit KC a lot and this hotel's location is perfect. But after a very long day of travel, we checked in and were given a very small room, not the suite we had booked for our five-night stay, and at a price higher than we'd been given when we made the reservation. We went back to the front desk to raise all this, but the hotel had not given the front-desk person the authority to resolve such issues. We decided to give up and stay. There were some bright spots (such as Ron ... I think that's his name ... who worked at the front desk some of the days), but there was also some abysmal service on two other occasions. Our service experience has been far superior at the nearby Westin.
