What a hidden gem!!!

A truly lovely setting for an unexpected Hotel that is incredibly well equipped, both as a whole and in the individual rooms. This is the perfect place if you are coming for the weekend, coming for business, or coming for an extended stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the linens are top-notch. The fully equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator also sports a range and oven, full size microwave and a dishwasher, and there is a ton of storage-- and they actually have dishes and cooking items inside the room. The staff are also exceptional, Brittney the GM and Rebecca at the front desk have gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome and safe, and their professional courtesies and wonderful attitude (along with the other staff members like Stacey in housekeeping and Nyvia at the front desk and the breakfast and additional housekeeping staff) truly make you feel welcome as a valued guest. And the setting feels like you're on a private estate-- but minutes away from major thoroughfares. And you are literally within walking distance or a minute or two from a massive array of dining and entertainment experiences. Highly recommend!

We stayed one night at TownePlace and were very much pleased with our experience. Our room with two queen beds was very spacious, included a dining table that sat 4, two comfy armchairs, and a full kitchen (stove, oven, dishwasher, large fridge, etc.). The room also had pots and pans. Breakfast was standard fare (muffins, coffee, one hot option -- which was biscuits and gravy this time), cereal, etc. Premises and our room were all clean. Front service was wonderful, and big kudos to Ericka who was welcoming, responsive, and friendly. Hotel is situated centrally and near a lot of shops, restaurants, and other businesses.

I’m staying here for a month long business trip and love it! It’s amazing to have a full kitchen in my room. My favorite part about my stay is the wonderful staff crew. Huge shout out to Pam especially, for always being so kind and helpful towards me and my fellow coworkers. The laundry room is inexpensive and the gym is nice :)

Hotel was perfect and the staff was very nice. Would definitely stay there again. Rooms had every thing we needed and the full kitchen was very nice to have. The hotel was a perfect location with all the conveniences nearby.

Worst hotel stay ever

This was the worst hotel stay I've ever experienced in my entire life. The bed was broken (no support, dipped down in the center like a hammock). I literally was awake the entire night continuously holding on to the side of the bed and trying to pull myself up. I'm suffering severe back, neck and leg pain as a result of that one disastrous night. Finally around 5:45 am, I went downstairs to the front desk and informed the overnight staff. I asked for another room and to be refunded for the first night. She took me to a dark, smelly and cold room down the hall that was a wheelchair accessible room with an extremely hard brick felt bed. I declined and asked for another room, she said that's all she had and that I had to speak with supervisor at 8:00. I was told same thing by supervisor that there were "no available rooms" I decided to check out of the hotel although I had reserved 2 nights. I was told I would be given points for a free night stay which the supervisor later went back on her word after she spoke with her manager. Just recently, I saw a small refund to my back account for a half night stay. Wow, 50% off a hotel room after struggling all night with a broke bed, suffering severe body pain and on top of that I was dealing with a family medical emergency. The general manager and supervisor at this hotel don't care, such greed, merely ruthless people. Take my advice and stay someplace else. There are much better options in Overland Park, KS.
