Quiet, ‘removed from the madding crowd,’ good value !

· Star East Bungalows are close enough to Jemeluk Bay —we had a motor scooter. The price was lower than other places because it is a bit farther from the bay. Due to it being ‘removed,’ the area is more quiet. If you pay online, before arriving, make sure you have a foto copy ! · The whole property was rather run-down, in age and overall maintenance. In the morning, there was no staff to be found, to ask about water, for example... we did finally find a cleaning person to ask.

you can rent a scooter via the reception but need pay cash - no cards accepted. Quite far away to go out for having a drink or to eat but in a quiet area so you'll get enough sleep. Big bed and good mattress. the bathroom need a deep clean - sticky tiles as the water from the shower don't run off properly only 1 outlet in the room (other side of the room)

Do not book on hotel websites !

We were a group of eight and we booked on the most famous hotel website and we had the bad surprise of arriving at the hotel and finding out that our rooms had been given to other customers who had been charged already, leaving us with an hour taxi ride at 8pm to find another place ... So be very careful when you book there !

Petits bungalows charmant, pas très propre mais pour le prix c’est pas mal. J’ai fais des hôtels 4 étoiles plus sales! Personnel souriant et respectueux. La piscine est propre (chose rare dans certains hôtels )

Bij aankomst al onze twijfel. Voordeel van de twijfel geven.. de kamer is vies. Beddengoed is schoon maar de vlekken zitten er nog wel in. Badkamer is vies, toilet lijkt wel eeuwen niet schoon gemaakt. Het is leuk aangelegd maar niet onderhouden. Het kost dan ook niks maar het is meer dan 10 keer niks. Als je wilt boeken.. denk goed na! De jongeman van de bungalows is echter erg vriendelijk! Daar ligt het niet aan.
