Probably one of the best hotels I''ve stayed in for the price. Very helpful and friendly. Family run. We had a large spotless clean room that had a balcony. The price included one of the best buffet breakfast i've had. They were not doing evening meals when we stayed there, but just across the road was a traditional German resteraunt that offered very good food for indoor or outside dining. It's in the centre of Kehl-Marlen within easy walking distance of other parts of the town.

I can't thank the owners enough for all they did for us! We were in Strasbourg and the place we had originally planned to stay was booked solid. We found this gem via Tripadvisors and another hotel site. It is only a 20 minute drive over the Rhine from Strasbourg and Hotel Alte Post provided us with a much needed respite. The owners took us under their wings and provided us with directions on how to get back to Strasbourg car free the next day as well as dining options in the surrounding area. We were running low on clothes as this was our 8th day being aboard so we asked if their was a laundromat nearby--there wasn't but the owner offered (and did) a load of laundry for us!! We will never forget their kindness and helpfulness. The included breakfast is wonderful. Please stay here the next time you visit Strasbourg or the surrounding areas!!

I was impressed by the hotel.. it has its downsides.. the free Internet is slow as hell OK. those were the downsides now let's talk about the upsides... rooms are clean and the one that I stayed in is huge staff is friendly breakfast was delicious there are rooms with balcony. huge plus for smokers I would recommend this hotel.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel pour un court séjour en Allemagne et avons été très agréablement surpris... D'abord pour l'arrivée. Les arrivées se font normalement à partir de 16h, nous avions demandé midi, et à midi quand nous sommes arrivés, nous étions attendus et avons pu laisser nos affaires dans la chambre de suite. La propriétaire très accueillante et souriante nous à conduits à la chambre en nous donnant toutes les informations nécessaires. Ensuite la chambre, très grande, très propre, très calme. Nous y avons passé une très bonne nuit, dans un lit très confortable. La décoration est simple et fait penser aux hôtels d'il y a quelques années, mais la propreté est impeccable, ce qui est le plus important. Pour finir, le petit déjeuner qui, si il n'offre pas un choix démesuré, est tout à fait satisfaisant avec du salé et du sucré (Café, thé, jus de fruits, fromages, œufs, charcuterie, yaourts, céréales, pain, viennoiseries, confiture, fruits...), bref, tout ce qu'il faut et en quantité suffisante pour un excellent petit déjeuner. Nous y retournerons certainement pour un nouveau séjour, peut être plus long cette fois ci.

sehr freundlicher empfang zimmer und dusche sehr sauber ohne weiteres wurde mir ein zweites kopfkissen ins zimmer gelegt, obwohl ich nichts bestellt habe. ich hatte eine decke als 2. kopfkissen benutzt was noch so toll war, auch ein kleiner kühlschrank wurde auch ins zimmer gestellt, weil eine mineralflasche von mir auf dem schreibtisch stand, super service
