Best value by far!
I spent 3 nights here while in Grand Rapids. The room was spotless, large and full of light. It had a microwave, full fridge, and dishwasher which was so convenient. The bed was comfy and the shower and bath were top notch. This is the best value, by far, that I have found! Good job, Residence Inn.
Satisfied "picky" customer
I was not dissappointed AT ALL My stay was a week long. I am very picky about cleanliness and comfort and it was clean and comfortable. Most of the staff was very friendly as well. I am also sensitive to noise and requested a quiet room. Although the walls seem thin- I did hear a neighbor coughing for a short bit- I was also satisfied in that area. I believe they make an effort to "contain" noise. We did hear a barking dog in a room we passed near the pool, which I would not be able to tolerate for 1 second, but had no issues in the room/floor I was in. I appreciated that guests were able to come as my son who is an officer in the Marines was able to surprise me for Christmas. My other son and husband visited as well. The only VERY MINOR issues I had were water pressure, which really probably isn't bad at all, but my husband knows me and spoils me at home, and the breakfast not being available till half hour later during much of the Christmas week- but I understand- which caused me to miss due to work. I will not hesitate to stay here next time, especially when needing a kitchenette for a long stay- very convienient. The popcorn they provided was the best too.
Funeral stay that went very well
Not attending for a planned stay but with proximity in mind to the airport and local family, we were extremely pleased by this professionally managed property with its solid quality and quiet accommodations. We needed the basics, sleep, quiet and food. The hotel offered these in relaxing and ample supply. The room was huge. I stretched out and worked on the sofa while my wife had plenty of room to turn the tv around and watch from the bed and it was suddenly like having a studio apartment. The kitchen was appreciated. The well stocked hotel grab and go featured Michigan brews, also a plus. I realized during this stay how much more utility one gets with a suite style format.
Well kept inviting accomodation
We moved over here after an unfortunate stay at the Delta Marriott up the street. What a welcome change. Room is very nicely appointed and clean. Nice breakfast buffet. Lovely fire pit and pool. Only wish the bed was a tad more comfortable but all in all it was great! We will be back.
