Friendly Staff, Clean Rooms, Highly Recommend!

Amazing front desk staff and service! Convenient bottles of water, fruit & coffee in their office. Rooms were very clean, modern look and roomy. I absolutely loved staying here! Felt like you have your own little apartment in Key West. Close to everything. Even locked ourselves out at one point and whomever let us in very quickly was super nice. We appreciate that! Solange at the front desk was more than accommodating & friendly. Only 0.3 miles super convenient if you take the key west express like we did. Highly recommend to everyone looking to stay in Key West!

Cozy, Clean, & Conveniently located

The staff was exceptional especially Solange at Guest Check in. Extremely accommodating. Rooms are well appointed, very clean, and beds plus pillows are the typical premium quality Hyatt Hotel chain grade. Excellent coffee and continental breakfast with fresh fruits. Small pool is always hot and very private. Only a 2 block walk to the key West Marina and wharf area with the main attraction being the Half Shell Raw Bar and Restaurant among dozens of other retail and dining venues. Highly recommend renting a golf cart or similiar which is adequate to see all of Key West!

Great place and centrally located

I was here for a week and joined after a day by a friend who was delayed by snow back in the DC area. We had a wonderful stay in a very nice two room suite essentially and staff were friendly, helpful and responsive to all requests. The breakfast is good and you can go to the area around the pool to have it if you desire. I would definitely stay here again. Also there are 3 or 4 other Kimpton properties on Key West.

Fairly nice staff, good location but very average and forgettable overall

Reviewed 6 january, 2022

Key West is a really nice place to visit but hotels are expensive. For a bit more money you can do much better than this hotel. On the plus side, the staff is by and large very nice. They were helpful with directions, recommendations, where to park, and information. But the negatives: Tiny rooms, horribly uncomfortable beds, dirty rooms (walking barefoot my feet were nearly black, and the shower had a lot of mildew), small pool across a busy street from our room that seemed to only be cleaned on weekdays (and the fountain pictured was not operational), only one housekeeping visit permitted per stay. They assess a $40 resort fee per night but the included continental breakfast was short many items two of the four days we stayed, and there was bottled water offered for guests our first two nights, but they didn’t replenish it for the next two nights. We had a lot of road noise as our room faced the street. After the second night we inquired about whether there may be a room we could move to on the back side of the building that might be quieter for the second half of our stay. They told us a manager would follow up, but nobody ever did. For a luxury boutique brand, this property just falls short.

Cute at first glance

At first blush, lovely. No microwave, no coffee pot. Bathroom has a pedestal sink, really ? Where do you put your toiletry bag ? Floors were filthy...see picture of washcloth walking from shower to bed..disgusting ! All kinds of cabinet space...why ?
