This is a pretty property and conveniently located. But as others have said, looks aren't everything. We paid top dollar for an "ocean view suite," and got something more like the staff quarters in Victorian England. We could see the beach from our patio if we moved the chairs all the way forward, then turned 90 degrees. The linens were substandard and the housekeeping non-existent. We had to phone every day for the room to be cleaned and it was never dusted, plus they left a heap of dirty towels right outside our door and left it for 24 hours. The breakfasts, tho' tasty and quickly served, were insanely expensive and the selection was very limited. Our concierge experiences were disappointing. It felt like one was selling a particular local product and the other offered us a discount that turned out to be the senior discount we'd have gotten anyway. We couldn't possibly recommend Casa Marina.

Luxury at its best

We love this property from the rooms to the pool!! Stayed here for our anniversary and booked with Hilton Points which means the room we were given was one of their cheapest and not too nice… asked for a possible upgrade for the remainder of our stay and boy did a Taylor take care of us!! We got a wonderful ocean front room that we enjoyed immensely! Pool was great and the gentlemen serving drinks there was awesome and fun!! Got to hear a wonderful lady singing Saturday evening and the beach there is also nice!! Only downfall was we literally were given zero help when we checked in - had no idea that our food and beverage credit did not cover food or beverages purchased in the on site cafe!!! Wished we had been informed of that prior to getting food there every morning but we still enjoyed our stay and Hope to return again!!

Hilton should be ashamed.

The Casa is not a hotel currently if you want a clean room, elevators, floors, stairwells, etc. what is ridiculous is that cleaning has to happen regardless the age of the property. The outside stair wells are seriously gross. Really? How about a bucket of soap and water. We watched recently spilled coffee get tracked everywhere. Staff walked through the mess! This has nothing to do with the age of your property. This is just standard healrhy practice. Yes the outside beach, pools grounds are very nice and the best of any hotel in Keywest. Thus the 2 rating. We did not eat a single meal on the property. Why would the kitchen be any cleaner than the rest of the property? This was our third and last time to the Casa. Even once “rehabed” I cannot justify the complete disregard for keeping things reasonably clean. Really unconscionable for Hilton. Soap and water is not expensive and if you read the majority of the reviews-Hilton- this is what people are saying. Hilton should be ashamed to manage a property this poorly and have complete disrespect for their guest.

What a dump. Two steps below a one star s*** hole.

I cannot believe that the Hilton can in good conscience rent these sleazy dirty nasty rooms much less for the MONEY GRUBBING exorbitant rates they charge. It really has nothing to do with the money. I have no problem with paying premium prices, but am really insulted by the extreme disregard for simple hygiene. Everything is filthy, old, disgusting. Service is non existent ie: no maid service the entire week. We had to raid the storage for clean towels. Avoid this HORRIBLE EXCUSE for a Hotel!

My husband and I travel quite a bit in Florida. Casa Marina was the absolute worst resort (not sure why it's call it a resort) we've ever stayed in. We booked an ocean front suite and paid over $1250 per night with tax and resort fee. Our room was run down, the paint was chipped everywhere, the couch was stained, the windows dirty, the eating area table was wobbly my husband went through one of the chairs on the balcony when he (not a large man) sat in it. The towels I believe started out white at some point but are now off white stained and completely worn through and frayed. One of mine had a 3inch hole in it. Not acceptable. The sink vanity must have been splintering on the bottom so there was wide silver electrical tape around each leg of the vanity trying to hide it. Really??? I have to say the grounds were attractive however the outdoor hallway areas were in desperate need of a complete overhaul. How this resort got 5 stars is beyond me. This so-called resort was the absolute worst place my husband and I ever stayed in.
