Great experience!

Andreea was very helpful and accommodating at check-in which made our arrival a great experience. Donna was also very good, helping us with genuine local knowledge and recommendations. The facilities are beachy and welcoming. All around great first impression.

Beyond disappointed

This Marriott is supposed to be a category 6 hotel. It seriously looks like they have taken over an old motel. The rooms are tired and cramped. I would not recommend staying here under any circumstances.

We were very pleased

Was apprehensive because of some of the reviews, but since we had family staying across the street, we were looking for something within out budget. 1. King size bed, clean, clean and comfortable. Room was fine for the 2 of us…didn’t come to the Keys to hang out in room 2, Room was clean, plenty of towels, tv with multiple channel and sm hotel coffee maker. 3. Breakfast…..coffee, tea, cold cereal, yogurt, jimmyndean breakfast sandwiches, muffins and bananas. More than adequate. 4. Pool area….very nice. Front desk personnel friendly I continually saw ground/marten e personnel sweeping, picking up palm fronds, etc This is high season….everything will cost more I guess you will have to decide, but I would go back

We rented a very small room with two double beds at the Fairfield Inn and suite (2400 North Roosevelt Blvd,Key West) and we were very disappointed. Everything is filthy on the site: the elevator, the parking lot, the exterior corridors, the area surrounding the very noisy pool, the outdoor breakfast area, the chairs and the lobby itself. Everything was dirty in some manner or another. The only thing that was clean was our bed, and the small bathroom in the room all the rest was terrible. In the pool area, most of the steel tables and chairs were crooked and uncomfortable and the breakfast was industrial: the coffee was watery, and their was only one kind fruit, bananas. It was not tropical… Also ants on the service table, very loud in the morning disco music, the cleaning lady did not empty the dirty trash cans, did not clean after all patrons. Around the not so inviting small pool were concrete conchs that sprayed water 6 feet into the air, creating a very annoying continuous cascade sound. All that, does nothing for tranquility. We are not judging people, but if you pay US$560 for two night all I described is an irritant. For the lack of efforts made by the staff, for the very poor cleanliness of the entire site and for the disguised motel, I give this hotel a generous 4/10, and qualify our stay as very poor. I don’t recommend the hotel, because in a high passing tourist area, like Key West, you can let go of standards and become lazy with the details, and that’s exactly what happened here. Shameful really.

Run from this place.

Worst Marriott ever. This must be a franchise location, not company owned, because I've never stayed in a more rundown hotel at a high end resort price. The construction style is sad 70's, with motel style parking and doors on outside corridors. Bonus - your only windows open on to the same corridor, so if you care about privacy you must have both shutters closed. Day and night. Extra bonus - the windows only have shutters so you can't make the room dark. There were food smears (I hope) on the artwork and bathroom mirror. AC is very loud and never shuts off. Just disgusting. On top of that, it was New Years and we paid probably 4x what the room is 'worth'. Oh, and no Room Service unless you ask for it. We asked for toiletries and coffee and got neither.
