Amazing communion experience

We had our daughters communion lunch here and also stayed the night. Food was amazing, staff so friendly and our room was absolutely fabulous. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable also left a gift and card for our daughter

Overpriced and needs refurbishment

Hotel room was not clean, the carpet had not been hoovered in weeks, had to wipe my feet before into bed. The toilet seat hinges had years of dirt on them. Could hear every noise in hotel room and the breakfast was not good and no choice in restaurants

Our family of six visited friends who live near the Fitzpatrick. The property was a perfect location and convenient for everything from hikes to morning coffees to the village center. We will for sure make a return trip the next time we travel to Dublin.

Hotel was very pleasant and convent for the family trip that I had planned, Staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was very good which was self service and there was a great choice. Only issue found over the stay was that the rooms were too warm but otherwise it was a very enjoyable stay.

Fitzpatrick Castle HOLIDAY HOMES - a wonderful stay

We were fortuntate to book a one week stay in a 1 BR with RCI in April 2022. We were very lucky that the unit was vacated on arrival so that we culd check-in early after a long flight. Check-in was at the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel reception and key, map and FOB for the gate entrance to the car park provided. The building does have an elevator but there are many steps leading to the main entrance as well as a ramp. The Holiday Homes are housed next to the hotel and have a separate entrance and parking. There was ample free parking around the building. The 1 BR was well equipped - kitchen with a dishwasher, bathroom and most importantly a washed and dryer. The entire suite was clean and well maintained - the microwave was not working and Carol the manager replaced it immediately. The living room had comfortable seating looking out onto to a balcony and dining room. Recreation facilities included the use of the main hotel's gym and swimming pool - which was very nice when it was adult swim time. The area around the hotel and buildings was tranquil near a park and 15 minute walk to Dalkey. As many have mentioned - the walk back from Dalkey is all uphill so be warned.We took the DART into Dublin from Dalkey which avoided any hassles about driving and parking in Dublin. We would not hesitate to stay at Fitzpatrick Castle Holiday Homes again - highly recommended. Kudos to Carol and her staff for excellent management of the suites.
