My wife daughter traveled Knoxville for an event last night staying at the Cumberland House. My wife reported the service was top notch, the property was beautiful and the room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Thank you Cumberland for making this mother/daughter trip a success.

The Cumberland House is a newer hotel located in walking distance to both downtown Knoxville and the University of Tennessee campus. Service at the hotel was excellent and the rooms were clean and offered nice amenities. The showers were especially terrific!

My husband and I came to the Cumberland House for real estate business and to attend the University of Tennessee's Homecoming game. I spoke with Bryce B. before I arrived and he was super nice and helpful! When I arrived, Bryce and the other staff were so kind!! The hotel gave each of us $12/day to spend on hotel snacks and the restaurant. The hotel was clean, quiet, and in a great location. It was sold out when we visited!! The valet is $40/day on game weekends, which I thought was steep. But, it was so packed, valets had to find spaces for cars. The valets were super nice and quick!! Hotel food was delicious as well!! Nothing but great things to say about the Cumberland. It is in Downtown Knoxville, so it is not cheap, but you pay to be in such a nice city.
Unique and comfortable.

The place is something to look at. When you first walk in, the space shows off the old with a new spin. The hotel it self is worth the price of the room. However, they throw in a parking charge per night in the fine print, this happens once you arrive. If it's a normal non game weekend, its 20 dollars extra per night. If TU is having a football game, its 40 dollars extra a night, on the weekend. This is in the super fine print, so if you don't read that, it springs up on check-in. They should just build this into the room price.
