Great stay!

Reviewed 23 january, 2022

Great weekend at the Hilton. We were there for a business trip, as we have been many times, and the service is always great and accommodating. Trevor, a valet, actually helped me get my stuff loaded up on a cart since there’s no bell service at the moment. He then helped me get my car loaded up. Thanks Trevor!

Fun night in Knoxville

We purchased this hotel stay for charity. Although we already live in Knoxville, all the employees made us feel VERY comfortable. All the employees were super friendly. The room was very, very nice. It was clean and we loved our stay

Pleasantly surprised

We have traveled a lot in the last two years and this is the first hotel in months our room was clean and we didn’t have any maintenance issues. The hotel was so nice we booked it again when we had to return to Knoxville a month later. The location is also great as you can walk to restaurants and downtown Knoxville from the hotel. The only thing they could improve is to have an electric car charger on site.

Hilton saved our family vacay!

Reviewed 10 january, 2022

We booked 5 rooms at the Hilton Knoxville after a disastrous cabin fail at Gatlinburg Falls Resort. We were so distraught by the conditions in Gatlinburg, that I finally said to my family, "I can't do this anymore - take me to the Hilton!" So we all loaded up and went to the Hilton where the team there truly saved our family vacation. From check-in to the bar - the staff were all super friendly and welcoming to our family. The hotel is clean, parking in the garage was fairly convenient, the rooms were comfortable - and out of all 5 rooms, not one complaint or issue. Our family of 11 dined in the hotel lounge one evening and found the service very friendly from the gentleman bartender. The food selection was small, but we ordered several items and it all came out timely and tasty. This ended up being one of the highlights of our vacation and I truly can't thank the Hilton enough for ensuring we had a great stay.

Stay Elsewhere!!!

Reviewed 1 january, 2022

We stayed here in the middle of December for a gymnastics meet. I specifically did NOT use the meet group code so I had more flexibility with cancellation. My daughter was to compete in the qualifer and we didn’t know if she would qualify to the 2nd meet a few days later. Upon arrival I confirmed my situation and was told I could cancel the back days off my trip as long as I gave a 24 hour notice. I was given a room key and we proceeded to our room. We had quite a bit of items and had traveled 8 hours - so you can imagine the disappointment when we opened our room to a used/occupied/dirty room. Not sure if the occupants had left yet or what. A very nice housekeeper called down to the front desk for us to inform them. We were then asked to drag all of our luggage back downstairs to the lobby where we were told we could have an “upgraded” room and free breakfast. The room was NOT upgraded, just on a different floor and we never received a free breakfast. I received an email from Paul Jordan regarding the room mix up, asking if there was anything he could do to rectify the situation, but apparently that is just a cut and paste email. I replied back immediately with my concerns and there was no response. Why reach out if you have zero intention of providing customer service? During our stay we were constantly waiting for an elevator because one was not working. People would cram into the elevator - despite Covid restrictions. The garbage can in our room was so tiny, one water bottle filled it up. If you aren’t going to provide daily housekeeping due to Covid, could we at least have a regular size garbage can? The toilet didn’t flush half the time. The valet was awesome - the workers there were on their A game and it was definitely worth the $24 a day. When my daughter finished her first meet, I went to the lobby to ask if we could cut our trip short by one day and leave early. I gave nearly a 40 hour advanced notice. I was told I was going to be charged a night’s stay whether I occupied the room or not. Wow. You are not allowed to leave early, even if you give a 24+ notice. I went to my room and contacted Hilton Customer Service where the agent said that was the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard and I must be mistaken. But she contacted the Knoxville Hilton where they told her the same thing. So I went back downstairs and spoke to the manager. Explained I was told on arrival I could leave early and that I needed to get home a day early to care for my disabled husband. He was very polite and agreed to waive the fee because of my situation. I have never had so much trouble at a Hilton. Most of our team stayed at the Hyatt nearby and were pleased. Do yourself a favor and book there.
