Nothing to complain. Level of service and professionalism of Hanse Kogge Team in all areas ( Front Desk, Breakfast, Room Service, … ) to be rated outstanding. Travelling a lot this was more a five star stay from service level perspective. Hanse Kogge has a great team in place!

Unfriendly and disrespectful Service

I had the worst experience with the service by Best Western hotel (“4starts” according to internet). We have been treated very unfriendly and disrespectful by the Receptionists and Staff working at the Spa section. Treating us not as Customer and making us feel not welcome at the place,their job is just handling you the key and say Tschüss. With the price that they charged and the very unprofessional staff there, the quality of room is not good value for money.(no AC & no Fan). The one star give to cleanliness of the room

This hotel is centrally placed in Koserow, which means one exit is to the Main Street, the other one to the back facing the meadows towards the lake behind the island (Achterwasser). The apartment house is called "Achterwasser Blick", which translates to view to the Achterwasser, but the majority of apartments are facing hotel buildings. The apartments are modern and well-furnished, contain stove, fridge, freezer, dish-washer, two TVs, a modern bathroom. The beds are comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The WiFi is not very reliable, both in the apartment building and the main building. The reception claimed that it was in the process of being fixed. When we travelled to Koserow, the pool and wellness area where all closed due to Covid19.

Infrastructure is a bit decrepid, consists of four or five "low rise" separate blocks. Their own marketing approach is towards the old and disabled. The chappie in charge is welcoming enough. If you want a low key beach holiday or to cycle up and down near the shore this is the place for you. Quite good value for a BW, but not in their usual run of hotels

Great hotel with very friendly staff and at least one or two who speak very good English. They'll also pick you up from the train station (the train takes around 3 hours from Berlin with one very easy change). Good spa, although the swimming pool is not that large. Very good beaches are a 5 minute walk. Bikes can be hired from the hotel and there are excellent shady bike paths through the woods behind the beach. The main path goes all along the Usedom coast. The hotel caters to a wide mix of guests and is wheelchair accessible. Kelch's fish restaurant nearby is very good (hotel food, including breakfast, is also good). Koserow is a sleepy coastal village - supermarket, good bakery, a few other shops and restaurants: if you want an outdoors-y holiday, it's the place for you. If you are after nightlife then perhaps not (though there was some German musical entertainment in places).
