Stayed one night in the executive single room (private bathroom) for RM 65 per night. The bathroom was too small to accomodate both the toilet and the sink.. the water does not seem to flow into the drainage hole as I think the design of the floor was not tilted correctly. The portable shower does not have the shower head attached... The room itself was big enough, the aircon works well and the TV as well. Reception is 24 hours :) Staff speaks reasonable English. Location is ok as just across the street is the main town with shops and eateries :)

This hotel was filthy and unsanitary. It is not fit for purpose. The floors and walls were unclean. The bed linen was unclean and had evidence of insect bites from prior guests on the linen. There was no top sheet at all, just an old unclean blanket. The toilet was leaking. There was no hot water at all working in the bathroom. No toilet paper was provided, despite repeatedly asking. There were many mosquitoes in the room. The door locks were inadequate for protection from forced entry. The walls were crumbling with damp, and smelling of mould. The hotel manager was rude and threatening. There were no facilities at all.

I booked the single room but that use the shared toilet, I was just gonna stay overnight as I reached Kota Tinggi around 9pm. First of all, I got lost as the direction from google map is different from the place was located. When I called the Inn, the person attended the call wasn't much helpful as he was basically shouting over the phone. Upon arrival, the room that was offered to me was first dirty on the floor and wall. the bed-sheet looked white but not sure. The room smelled like cigarette and they left a used towel inside without cleaning it. They did not provide any towel. When I asked for wifi password, the person at counter said no wifi provided when clearly at the website they said they have free wifi and the wifi was still on. The toilet/ shower room was a nightmare. I did not use the toilet scared of how it will be and the shared shower was so dirty. Left over soaps were not cleaned and look so disgusting. I will not ever go back over there again.

Located exactly in centre of town.Many shops and restaurants nearby. Very comfortable stay and clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and the price is very very convenient compared to other hotels in Kota Tinggi .Wifi is free .Thank you Gest Inn
