More about the hotel
Lovely family-run hotel
I made a last minute reservation here and I couldn't have been more pleased with Midtown. This hotel is run by a very kind family who were incredibly accommodating and helpful during my first few days in Bolivia. The city had some ongoing street blockades and protests but the hotel was still able to pick me up from the airport and told me which areas to avoid. Highly recommend this hotel!
Check in Midtown
I stayed for a couple of weeks at Midtown, La Paz, and I can assure you I always felt like at home. Friendly personal, excellent services, Midtown is a clean, sunny and quiet place. Very well connected, you can go everywhere from there in an easy way. A must.
Nice place
Midtown hotel is new hotel in La Paz (2,5 years now). The rooms are very new and clean. The location is good, close to cablecar green, yellow and blue. The staff is very welcoming, helpfull and friendly. One small detail: the hotel is close to a busy road (inside the hotel you do not notice the road though).
Best service EVER!!!
We stayed at the Midtown Bolivia and we enjoyed our stay so very much. The location was within walking distance to the green, yellow and blue cable car stations. There were also banks, grocery store, restaurants, and stores very close. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and absolutely everyone we came into contact with at the hotel was amazing. The gentleman that checked us in was very kind and offered to help us with anything we need. The next morning Carlos in the restaurant was so ready to make us anything we wanted. He even made sure to have food ready for us on the day of our departure, even though we were leaving so early! It was very sweet. Carlos and his colleague at the front desk were so helpful in getting us maps, making sure we knew the best places to visit, the best method of getting to various destinations, and he was also extremely attentive to the needs of my aunt who was ill on our visit-offering to make sure she had something to eat as we were going to go explore. Upon our arrival back to the hotel, I asked if Gabriela in reception knew of a place to get to get my hair styled. She called several places, found one close to the hotel, even insured they would give me a discount, made an appointment for me, and helped us find transportation there! That evening, when I returned, Gabriela asked how my Aunt was doing and if she might need anything. We checked on her and she was suffering much worse from altitude sickness. Both Dañiela and Gabriela arranged for her to get supplemental oxygen, and also made her soup. They insisted on bringing it up to us so we could rest. The oxygen helped my aunt tremendously and we couldn’t be more appreciative for all their efforts to make us feel not only at home, but so well taken care of. I am a flight attendant and stay at hotels at least 15 nights per month, I have never received such incredible and attentive service from so many members of a hotel staff! I can’t say enough kind things about them all! Mil gracias por todo!!
Sincerely
