Well located, but very unpractical internal organization of the studio

The location is very convenient, really close to the center, and with some convenience stores near by. However, the "studio" is actually a single room with a bed which takes all the space, a tiny kitchen space and a bathroom which has a lot of empty space, a tiny shower and a tiny basin. The window-door to the terrace cannot open fully because the bed is in it's way. Hardly any room to hang your clothes, the trash bin is actually set in the closet... Too bad the architect had no sense of practicallity. As i stayed "only" one week, no cleaning was done for the room (not even once), and I hardly crossed any staff trhoughout my stay. The lady at the receptionist may need to have some english lessons so that she can feel more comfortable with tourists from other countires. In conclusion, disappointed and would not renew with this type of "studio".

Room much smaller than advertised. Booked a 18m2 room - got a 10-12m2 room, even though the hotel was almost empty. There was a tiny but usable kitchenette right opposite the bed, but only a small desk pushed against the wall for eating. Bathroom clean and spacious but with a tiny shower. It felt like a student dormitory. Location is good close to the harbor.
Avoid at any price...

Friendly staff but ... As charming as the death row, Erratic internet, Heating unable to warm the room when it is 10 Celsius outside, There must be better alternatives in La Rochelle, or sleep somewhere else.
Booking available but hotel closed!

Be careful, we booked several rooms on Dec. 10 & 11 via a famous booking website but with the ongoing lockdown, this hotel is CLOSED and no one answer the phone or emails. Luckily we were warned beforehand by a friend who lives closeby and could book elsewhere and the website cancelled our bookings without fee. You must definitely call the hotel before any booking.
Ok hotel, but small and crowded breakfast!

Stayed for 1 night. Very clean and modern rooms. Parking was available right next to the hotel. A big plus was to take a lift straight from the parking to our room. The pool was heated, but since there was only 1 pool and a lot of kids it might not be the most suitable for couples. Breakfast was a bit disorganised. When we went to the breakfast, they were out of trays, and cutlery so we had to wait for the staff to wash it for us. But this was not a big problem. However, there is not a big variety of food to choose from and you are always in the way for someone or standing in line since the space is so small. Does not seem to be a designated breakfast area at first glance. Some people who arrived after us around 9 or 10 had to queue for a while before getting a seat....
