Amazing hotel and an incredible family
Opinión escrita el 19 de Agosto de 2021
My friend and I stayed at this hotel in August 2021, and it was an incredible experience from the start to finish.
Arrival - we were actually booked into another hotel and wasn’t originally meant to be staying here, but there were issues and we had to change where we were staying - obviously we were extremely stressed to be in a foreign country with no where to stay. We turned up and explained our situation and within minutes Julie had sorted everything for us and offered us a room! As they weren’t expecting us the room wasn’t quite ready so they offered us a cocktail whilst we waited! The rep then came and spoke with us and gave us a great deal at the hotel - 100 euros and this meant we could have breakfast everyday, unlimited drinks for 3 hours a day, unlimited use of the pool table, WiFi and more! For a 10 night stay this was a phenomenal price!
Room - the room was good. It was a great size, plenty of room, and included a bathroom, balcony, fridge and kettle. The bathroom had the essentials - toilet, shower and sink. Most importantly the room had air con - you had to pay for this, but it was cheap and you expect to pay for that in most places.
Facilities - the facilities were great, two good sized pools, plus a smaller one and a slide - the pools were very clean and we saw them being cleaned every evening - Carlo also cleaned the whole outside area down every evening. The hotel bar was great, food and drink was very reasonably priced and it was good! We made our way through the whole cocktail list and they were amazing!! An extra bonus was that they also have communal showers so on the last day, once we had checked out of our room we could still use the pool all day and then have a shower before we had to leave.
The staff - the staff are the best bit about this hotel! Julie, Steve, Dora, Carlo and all the family and friends - thank you for a fantastic experience! They are incredibly friendly, always make conversation with you and always go above and beyond to help. The family’s children are just as wonderful and welcoming, it was an absolute pleasure to meet them, and their gorgeous puppy. The staff are always around so if you ever need anything it was is super easy to get hold of them and they will help you straight away. I felt very welcomed by all of the staff - they made us feel like part of the family.
I would most definitely stay here again!

Me and my partner have just returned from a 10 night stay here. We were firstly charged €10 per night for air conditioning and €2 per night to use the safe - this was stated as included in our booking on Booking.com so please check this before you get stung with this expense on your arrival!
Lovely family run hotel. We got on with the staff well and they did all we asked of them. They made an effort to make conversation with us.
For what you pay for I would say it’s okay. If you are wanting to go for a partying holiday with friends then this is defo a great option for you as it’s cheap and cheerful and also loud music and shouting throughout the night.
€100 for a wristband which gives you free drinks for 3 hrs per day and daily breakfast. This was definitely worth it bearing in mind the drinks were €5 each and the €100 was for the length of your stay.
Unfortunately for me there were definitely more cons.
The additional charges on our arrival were unexpected and annoying as we obviously didn’t take them into account.
The bathroom in our room was very scummy. Their was even some dried blood on the door which is completely unacceptable. Shower was tiny and water got everywhere and it just wasn’t up to the standard I would expect from a hotel.
We had to ask for someone to clean our room as after a few days we still had not received fresh towels, clean bedding, bins emptied etc. Surely this is something they just should be doing???
On our arrival we were met by the ‘rep’ Andy. He seemed welcoming at first and gave us some advice and said he would be around often if we needed anything. This was the last time we saw him - he walked past us a few times throughout the holiday but didn’t acknowledge us at all. We asked the hotel owner if they could get hold of him for us as we wanted to speak to him about some trips but nothing. Not really sure what he is being paid to do to be honest as he is the worst ‘rep’ I have ever met in my life.
Food in the hotel is very very average but is cheap so I won’t moan about this too much - just don’t waste your money.
The overall look of the hotel was just shoddy- lots of fixtures and fittings broken and could just do with a massive tidy up and re furb to be honest!
LASTLY OUR CHECK OUT. Oh Christ this was the cherry on top. So we made them aware our taxi was picking us up at 9am on our day of check out to take us to the airport so we would be checking out at 830ish. No one was there. It got to 8:55am and our taxi had turned up but no one in sight at the reception - I could have robbed the whole place and no one would have known!!!! In the end I called the emergency number and someone said they would be with us soon - I made them aware of the urgency of the matter and they took around 10 minutes. No apology. I was fuming. (I couldn’t just leave as they kept my passport which was left unattended in an UNLOCKED cupboard)
Overall will not be returning.

We booked this hotel through a dodgy company which meant there was an issue with confirmations but the hotel staff were so helpful and understanding. They put us in a room despite the fact they could not get in contact with the company we booked through which we were very grateful for because they could’ve turned us away. The rooms are really spacious and modern and the hotel is in a fab location. The staff are also so friendly and the food is well priced and really nice. Will definitely return when coming back to zante.

This hotel was great for me and my girlfriend.
The staff were lovely and VERY helpful, good to know there was security wandering about.
The showers were on the small side but still manageable and the air con wasn’t the greatest (even on 16°) and we was charged €10 per night even though on Booking.com (maybe other sites) it was included.
A nice 10min stroll to the beach if not bothered by all the bar staff with their one of a kind deals.
Be careful of your belonging on the beach as some beach workers were recording people items to see what they could steal.
Would highly recommend Grecco’s tavern for a lovely meal out, complimentary starter and dessert and very friendly staff.
Also highlight of the trip was renting our own private boat for about €90 down at My Tours with Elina, perfect day out with family/friends.
Would not recommend

First time in Zante with my friend both aged 24.. 100% a young persons first holiday/hotel. We’re only young ourselves and been on plenty of girls holidays but this was the worst hotel I’ve been to.
Il start with the good.. lovely staff, hotels rooms were lovely on arrival.. although didn’t see a cleaner in the 4 days we were there so didn’t get fresh towels or sheets), food was really nice.
More bad unfortunately.. full of 18-20 year olds, didn’t have consideration for anyone else, loud around the pool, rubbish everywhere (felt sorry for the staff), no security at hotel through the night so constant shouting and banging all night. Showered in a freezing cold shower every night as had no hot water and couldn’t dry my hair as they only had 1 hairdryer to lend out at a time to the whole hotel. Toilet chain also broke too.
It’s a good job me and my best friend made the most of it and still made it amazing but I would highly NOT recommend unless you’re 18 wanting a piss up the whole time then this is the perfect holiday for you..
