Once we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist wasn't friendly. She directly said that we must choose a time for the breakfast ( breakfast simple and not fresh. So basic. Like a breakfast in a hospital.). The receptionist at the breakfast room was not polite. The hotel is old. Not clean. A lot of stain on the carpet. We were on the 9th floor so the view was perfect and the barman was friendly and polite. And it's a dog friendly hotel so it's nice
Affordable hotel, remote location .

Pros : • Location (but far from Koblenz city) • Affordable • Our business room was spacious • Free parking Cons : • Older hotel • Small budget rooms (but larger superior rooms or even spacious business rooms available) We used this hotel as a one night transit between Bonn and Saarbrucken. I’ve booked a spacious business room on the 9th floor. Older hotel, 15 floors, 2 elevators. Free onsite parking. Location : 10km south of Koblenz on top of a wooded hill with Rhine valley view from higher floors. Our business room was spacious (+-30m²). Older lookout, comfortable, clean and quiet at night. Acceptable king bed , crispy sheets, Mediumlarge flatscreen TV. free Wifi. Bathroom was good size, adequate and clean, a good shower, some toiletries provided. Good airco, coffee/tea. Conclussion : you get what you pay for … affordable but older 4**** hotel, acceptable for the price, good as a transit or short stay.
Horror movie feel to this hotel

Wonderful hill top setting with great woodland and river views but that's before you arrive. Very rude Syrian female staff member. I felt unwelcome from the start. What in God's name had I done. Hotel I believe used to be a Sanitarium and with a 7th floor view of the trashed derelict open 25 metre empty swimming pool the previous staff behaviour was not so surprising. There is a hospital 10 minutes walk away for people needing recuperation. The grounds of the hotel is just like a Sanitarium. Weird benches and walkways. If the staff were helpful it would have made a big difference but they were not. The Eagles song Hotel California comes to mind - a song about people at a hotel 'who can check out but never leave'. It gave me the creeps. Hotel should be used for the next hollyood horror movie including the Syrian female receptionist. What a nasty.

Really an old hotel that needs to be renovated. Room very old and dirty, with dirt spots on chairs. TV no international channel visible. Restaurant on top floor, that could could the unique plus, was closed. Check in very very slow, only one guy and nobody to help him, there was queue of 5 people at 8pm. Honestly speaking I’d expect something better from Wyndham group. Free parking but WiFi slow.
