Good value for the money; walking distance to Disney Springs

Don't really have a lot of negatives to say about the Hilton Lake Buena Vista Palace. It is convenient to Disney Springs (about a 15 minute walk). There is a very nice lazy river on property as well as several pools. A poolside bar was also a nice touch although the week we went it was a bit chilly at night to take advantage. The hotel has a shuttle to the four major Disney theme parks which was nice. Probably the only down side was the times it was offered. Would have been nice to have a mid-day service in/out, but it is what it is. The return time from Magic Kingdom was very close to fireworks but if you learn to game the system you can make it work (take monorail to EPCOT and take later shuttle back from there). As far as amenities the food options were good...the main kind of self-service option had a large variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner and was open late if you were hungry after return from theme parks. We had breakfast at the restaurant with the breakfast buffet which was a bit pricy but typical for hotels. The only complaints are that it is a bit dated and the room service left a bit to be desired. You have to request daily service if you want it (not that big a deal) but we had to text 3-4 times to have extra towels delivered and used towels picked up. Other than that no big deal. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thought it was worth the $$ and would definitely stay there again. Masks were "suggested" in public areas but honestly maybe only 1/2 or less actually wore them. They didn't hassle you if you didn't.

There was an issue with our digital key but was handled very quickly. There was construction noise while we were sleeping but only one morning. Great location. Very nice staff they greeted us warmly each day upon our return. I would stay again.
I wish I had stayed in a cheap motel and rented a car

I will NEVER stay here again. The showers take ten minutes to heat up, the breakfast is expensive, and the blankets are paper thin. Even at the cheapest motel, I expect a hot shower and a free breakfast. We stayed here because of the early morning admission to Disney and the shuttle. But the shuttle schedule has nothing to do with Disney's hours. You can take advantage of the early hours, or the shuttle, but not both. We wasted precious hours at the parks, and spent a fortune on Ubers for my entire family to get to the parks, because of that stupid shuttle. It takes an hour to get from Magic Kingdom back to the hotel. I was mad about that shuttle the whole trip. Also, there's a resort fee? What the heck? Isn't the resort fee the cost of the hotel? There was supposed to be a character breakfast. They advertise it on the website and in the elevators. We skipped the shuttle and missed hours in the park to go to it. Come to find out, they don't have it because of COVID. I was so furious that I cried in front of the manager, but he couldn't do anything. The pools are fun. Apart from that, what a terrible experience.
Excellent stay for our Disneyworld vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace Disney Springs Area. For those going to Disney, the big benefits are the morning shuttles and the early park access. Both of which we used extensively during our stay. The shuttle goes direct to the park without any stops and has seats for everyone. The downside is that it does not run continuously. This means on the way back you would either Uber/Lyft home OR hop on a Disney shuttle to a nearby resort and walk over. The views from our room were amazing and the balcony was a nice touch. The gym was fairly big and the location was convenient for access to Disney Springs. We also used the laundry machines on the 2nd floor which was something we didn't plan for but was glad they had them. The service staff at the front desk was also very friendly & helpful. We booked this hotel via Costo Travel which was heavily discounted and waived the resort fees. Would stay here again!
Great place for Disney vacation

This was a great place for my family of four during our Disney trip. We selected the hotel for the early entry benefit, and we’re very pleased with the hotel. The grounds are lovely, and it’s a convenient walk to Disney Springs. The hotel accommodated my special room request which made our stay better as well. Other reviewers noted the very cold pool, which it definitely was, however the lazy river was a great temperature, which my kids preferred anyways. Great pool area overall. We utilized the market Citrus28 every day for breakfast, sandwiches, and pizza. It was good! We found our stay to be quiet and peaceful and fun. It is a little pricey when you consider everything combined, but we wanted the Early Entry at Disney so it was worth it for us. We did not utilize the shuttle, so I can’t comment on that. The parking lot is a short walk from the lobby. Some reviewers noted the condition of the room. I have to say, I saw two small bugs on the counter but nothing to be alarmed about. The beds were comfortable and there was not a musty smell in our room. Some of the paint was chipping and could have used a little updating, but the room was certainly nice overall. Cleanliness was average. You do have to request extra towels or a cleaning, but they clearly communicate that up front. We had no problem getting extra towels. My kids were thrilled with the “fancy” look of the hotel ;) I would recommend it overall for your Disney vacation.
